SUVs are the clear engine for growth for Nissan across the Middle East, as they represent more than 55% of total sales for the year.
Sales in this segment have risen by 17%, with a strong demand for the Patrol being a serious catalyst, and posting a 21% increase following its global launch in Abu Dhabi.
The SUV story was even more striking in Saudi Arabia. KSA, as the region’s largest market, contributed more than 35% of all Middle East sales.
Models like the Pathfinder and KICKS performed exceptionally well, with the former seeing a 27% growth and the latter rising by 10% to cement their place in the hearts of Saudi customers.

What also supported this growth was the launch of the compact Magnite SUV in Saudi Arabia. It offers an accessible option for city drivers and further expands the reach of Nissan’s SUV.

Thierry Sabbagh, President of Nissan Middle East and INFINITI, and Divisional Vice President for KSA, Middle East, and CIS, commented on the company’s strong FY24 performance, saying:
“FY24 is a big turning point for Nissan in the region. Even when the market dynamics have shifted, with heightened consumer expectations, we are still focused on what drives long-term value, strong partnerships, competitive productions, and agility in operations all through our markets.”
He also said, “Our performance in Saudi Arabia, which is our largest market, shows how strong the strategy of our product is and the trust we build with customers and even dealers.”
