Audi has introduced the new A6 Sedan at authorised retail locations all over Saudi Arabia. This marks a key milestone in the brand’s efforts to bring together refined aesthetics and real-world efficiency and comfort.

It comes with an impressive drag coefficient of 0.23, which is the lowest ever for a combustion-engine Audi model. Audi has also designed the A6 Sedan to perform quietly and efficiently, even at high speeds.

Smart Aerodynamics Meet Modern Design

The foundation of the aerodynamic excellence of A6 lies in the shape of its body and the close partnership between the design of Audi and engineering teams.

Aerodynamics developer, Sebastian Weiper, said: "What determines the vehicle's aerodynamic quality is primarily its basic shape.” The sedan's low stance and flowing roofline give it natural advantages. Every element, from its front spoiler to the sharp tail edge, plays a role in directing airflow to minimise drag and lift.

The large Singleframe grille, flush rear window, and sleek body lines enhance performance and visual appeal. A standout detail is the gentle upward curve of the rear tailgate, which helps optimise stall and reduce turbulence at the back.

Air Curtains and Underbody Panels: Subtle Yet Powerful

• Redesigned intakes of side air, or air curtains to help channel air around the front wheels.
• Controlled airflow through the bay of the engine, thanks to smart grille intakes.
• Extensive underbody panels to help reduce turbulence underneath the vehicle.
• Diffuser and spoiler shape to reduce lift of rear axle and increase stability during high speed.

Francesco d’Amore, exterior designer, said the styling is “clear and functional,” since the signature Audi window curve leads into a wide, stable stance that exudes sporty elegance.

Acoustic Comfort and Ride Quality

The A6 has top-tier refinement of acoustic. To reduce cabin noise by up to 30%, there's improved seals, acoustic glazing, and tire noise absorbers compared to its predecessor. Drivers will notice smoother transition of gears and fewer vibrations, thanks to better mount of engine bushings and refined gear teeth.

The A6, with the optional adaptive air suspension, can automatically lower itself, which helps improve handling and aerodynamic efficiency. The manufacturer has already optimised the standard ride height for comfort, while dynamic mode lowers the car even further for a sporty experience.

Premium Features and Pricing

The Audi A6 Sedan is built in Neckarsulm and the price starts at SAR 226,000 (approx. €55,500). It features a Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system, a setup of four-zone climate control, and an air quality system with fine dust sensors.
