Deepal S05

Following its debut in UAE, the Deepal S05 is expected to enter the Saudi market by late 2025 through Al Tayer's regional presence. Like UAE specs, it will be available in both BEV and REEV options to meet Saudi buyers’ demand for long-range, tech-forward EVs.

Launch

We expected the launch of Deepal S05 via select importers or official dealer tie-ups by late 2025 or early 2026.

Price

The Deepal S05 price in KSA is expected to start around SAR 90,000–120,000 for REEV variants and up to SAR 135,000 for top BEV trims.

Engine & Performance

The S05 will be available in a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Range Extended Battery Vehicle version.

• BEV: 175 kW motor, 56.1 kWh battery, 460–510 km CLTC, 7.3 seconds to 100 km/h

• EREV: 160 kW motor plus 1.5 L petrol extender, ~1,200 km range total, 7.9 seconds to 100 km/h.

Ride & Handling

It is suited to smooth Saudi highways and city roads, expected to perform confidently, though higher grip tires are recommended for optimal traction.

Interior & Features

UAE spec cabin applies: 15.4-inch large touchscreen, HUD, Queen-class seating, over-the-air updates, premium audio, generous cargo volume and smart storage features.

Safety & Driver Assistance

The ADAS suite includes IACC adaptive cruise, lane assist, AEB, blind-spot alert, 360° camera and robust safety cell structure ideal for Saudi roads.

Rivals

The S05 matches Saudi Arabia’s compact EV offerings, such as MG 4 EV, Hyundai Kona Electric, BYD Atto 3 and Tesla Model 3 in the affordable electric SUV space.
