Nissan Expands Zero Gravity Seats Across Middle East Lineup

Saudi Arabia : The advanced Zero Gravity Seats from Nissan, once exclusive to a few models, are now standard in more than half of its vehicles in the Middle East.
- It is now available in more than 50% of Nissan’s passenger lineup in the Middle East.
- NASA research for better spinal alignment and fatigue reduction inspired it.
- The new Nissan Patrol models have the massage functions with Zero Gravity Seats.
- There are tailored designs for sport, comfort, and climate-conscious performance.
Nissan is taking the comfort of drivers and passengers to the next level as it extends its innovative Zero Gravity Seat technology to more vehicles in the Middle East, which, of course, includes the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The seats, which are inspired by NASA’s studies on optimal posture in space, aim to reduce fatigue, improve alignment of spine, and make daily drives smoother and longer trips more relaxing.
Nissan first introduced Zero Gravity Seats in the Nissan Altima. Today, it has featured the technology in over half of its regional passenger car lineup, which include models like the Pathfinder, X-TRAIL, KICKS, and the all-new Magnite.

The all-new Nissan Patrol, for the first time, also has Zero Gravity Seats across the full range—now enhanced with features for integrated massage so occupants can get maximum luxury.
Comfort Engineered for Every Drive
The seats, which are developed in collaboration with Japan’s Yamazaki Laboratory at Keio University, use a design that mimics the body’s neutral posture in zero gravity.
The goal is to reduce points of pressure, align the hips and spine, and spread the weight of the body to be more evenly. The main features are:
- 14 pressure points that are strategically placed to relieve stress on the shoulders and back.
- Improved blood circulation to lower fatigue on long drives.
- Advanced seat simulations and musculo-skeletal analysis used in development.
- Built ergonomically to handle travel in city, desert, or highway.
These advancements help the seats to be functional and also supportive, which, in all, offer a driving experience that is more tailored, based on the purpose of each model.
Luxury Meets Innovation in Every Model
Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional Vice President and President of the Middle East, KSA, CIS for Nissan & INFINITI, said: “Comfort is fundamental to how we, at Nissan, design our vehicles. This Zero Gravity Seats how's how committed we are to enhancing the ownership experience as we prioritize comfort and well-being.”

In models that focus on performance, like the Nissan Z and Z NISMO, the seats give enhanced lateral support, and features Recaro® leather-and-Alcantara® materials with strong bolsters to hold the body during fast cornering.
In contrast, the all-new Magnite offers MODURE leatherette quilted seats with Heat Guard technology, which is ideal for the warm climates in the Middle Eastern.
Available Now in the Region
Nissan has now included the Zero Gravity Seats in several top-selling SUVs and sedans in KSA, such as the Altima, KICKS, Pathfinder, X-TRAIL, and the luxurious new Patrol.
Drivers will enjoy better comfort, support, and long-term ease, whether they're cruising through the city streets of Riyadh or venturing off-road.
