Design and Styling
According to the earlier spy shots, the new Patrol Nismo has a bold look that highlights its sporty roots. At the front, a large hexagonal grille stands out, edged with chrome-trimmed side air intakes. The front splitter, marked with a bright red accent, adds to its aggressive style.
The bumper has sharp lines that cross each other, which helps the car cut through the air better. This design boosts stability and makes it more aerodynamic at high speeds. The SUV’s side profile features wider fender arches that give it a more aggressive look. Stylish Nismo-branded side vents add a sporty touch. Bright red accents run along the side skirts beneath the doors.
The wheels are partly hidden to keep the final design a surprise. From the back, a large roof spoiler stands out, along with a new rear bumper. The bumper has a central brake light inspired by F1 cars, embedded in a diffuser. The normal exhaust outlets are now hidden beneath the bumper, keeping a clean look.
Engine and Specifications
The 2026 Patrol Nismo is not just about looks. It also gets important mechanical updates to boost its driving on the road. A new sport suspension made for Nismo aims to make the ride stiffer and cut down body roll when taking corners.
The steering system has been tuned to be quicker and more responsive, giving better control. Braking is expected to improve with bigger discs and better cooling so that the vehicle can stop reliably even in tough conditions.
The Patrol Nismo is expected to have the same 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine as the 2025 Patrol. This engine produces around 425 hp and 700 Nm of torque. Power will be sent to all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic gearbox.
Although official details are still to be announced, the Nismo version is likely to offer a small boost in performance. It might be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in about 5.5 seconds.
This model mainly targets the Middle Eastern market and aims to compete with potent SUVs like the Toyota Land Cruiser GR Sport. While the Land Cruiser version focuses on off-road skills, the Patrol Nismo is built for a more exciting on-road drive. It offers a rare mix of luxury and lively performance in the larger SUV class.
Pricing
Because of its upgraded features and unique market standing, the Patrol Nismo is expected to cost about 15 per cent to 20 per cent more than the standard 2025 Patrol. This price difference puts it squarely in the luxury performance SUV market.
