BMW Group Middle East reported a significant growth in the first half of 2025, with sales rising by 15.3 per cent compared to the same period in 2024. The UAE remains the top market in the Middle East. It is complemented by strong sales of MINI, BMW M, and BMW Motorrad.
Demand for BMW 5, 7 and M series grows unprecedentedly
The BMW 7 Series continues to be the main model in the premium segment. The BMW X7 also saw impressive growth, climbing 18.6 per cent in the first half of the year. BMW M models grew by 31.6 per cent, and M High-Performance versions increased even more, with a 46 per cent jump. This shows that there is a strong demand for fast, high-power cars in the region.
The BMW 5 Series grew by 23.8 per cent so far this year, confirming it as a key part of BMW’s lineup of luxury sedans.
BMW Middle East also saw significant growth in corporate and special sales, rising 38.5 per cent in the first six months compared to last year. The Corporate Sales Conference held in Oman during the second quarter was a big milestone. It helped build the foundation for future growth.
Strong Contribution from MINI and Motorrad
MINI also continued to do well, growing by 20 per cent compared to last year. The MINI Countryman was the best-selling model, making up 40 per cent of all MINI sales. The John Cooper Works (JCW) version saw a big jump, increasing sales by 63 per cent and making up 14 per cent of all MINI sales.
BMW Motorrad had a strong start to the year, with nearly 20 per cent more bikes sold than in the first half of 2024. This reflects a growing interest in motorbiking across the region, along with a focus on good customer service.
Growth in Retail and Customer Service
The growth is also thanks to improvements in the BMW Group Middle East retail network. The new “Retail.Next” concept creates a more customer-focused environment. It combines open spaces with personalised service, making it easier for buyers to enjoy both online and in-person experiences.
Customer service remains a key part of BMW’s success. Support services increased by 7 per cent in the first half of 2025. Most BMW owners, around 76 per cent, have their cars serviced within the official network, even if the vehicles are up to 10 years old. This shows they trust the brand and stay loyal.
Through the ConnectedDrive platform, the BMW and MINI Proactive Care programme, and the “Relax. We Care” initiative, BMW has made ownership easier and more enjoyable. Many digital tools also help customers get the best service possible. This keeps BMW ahead in after-sales support in the region.
Karim-Christian Haririan, Managing Director of BMW Group Middle East, said that despite facing some challenges in the region, they continue to deliver high-quality vehicles to their BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad customers. He was pleased to see the M models, particularly the high-performance variants, growing in popularity.
