Al-Futtaim Toyota Unveils First Land Cruiser Hybrid for Middle East Market

Al-Futtaim Toyota has launched the Land Cruiser Hybrid in the United Arab Emirates. This is the first hybrid electric version of the famous Land Cruiser series. The model combines over 70 years of history with Toyota's latest hybrid tech. The result is improved performance while keeping intact the vehicle's reputation for reliability, toughness, and off-road capability. 

The launch in the Middle East shows just how special the Land Cruiser is in this region. Since 1951, the Land Cruiser has helped people all around the world. It is trusted in tough conditions and difficult terrains. The new Land Cruiser Hybrid shows Toyota’s move towards reducing carbon emissions.

Through electrification, the new Land Cruiser Hybrid model strengthens the series' fundamental qualities of dependability, toughness, and outstanding off-road performance.  In comparison to traditional powertrains, the hybrid system enhances accelerator responsiveness by 40  per cent and boosts torque by 20 per cent. 

With the 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine, the Land Cruiser Hybrid is the most potent Land Cruiser to date. The engine produces 457 hp and 790 Nm torque. The SUV offers remarkable efficiency and linear driving on all types of terrain.

Significance of Land Cruiser HEV in the UAE conditions

The Land Cruiser Hybrid has been thoroughly tested and developed on many different types of terrain around the world. This includes the mountainous areas of the UAE, muddy grounds, and harsh deserts. The aim was to make sure it can take drivers anywhere and return them safely.

The VXR features updated Hybrid Jet Black bumpers that give it a fresh look. Both models feature badges that read Rear HYBRID Beyond Zero and Sides 457TT.
