iCAUR V25 Makes Global Debut With REEV and Fully Electric Powertrains

Saudi Arabia: iCAUR has unveiled the all-new V25 at its 2026 International User Summit in Wuhu, China, held from October 19 to 23. The new SUV joins the brand's V-series lineup alongside the V23 and V27, bringing a boxy design, electrified powertrain options and a focus on vehicle customisation. The iCAUR V25 will be offered with range-extended electric (REEV) and fully battery-electric (BEV) powertrains. While its international rollout is planned to begin in late 2026, iCAUR has not yet confirmed the V25's launch date, price or specifications for Saudi Arabia.

iCAUR V25 Exterior Design and Features

The iCAUR V25 follows the brand's Future-Classic design philosophy, combining retro-inspired styling with a modern SUV appearance. Its boxy silhouette, circular headlights, upright stance and wide tyres give it a rugged look that distinguishes it from more rounded urban SUVs. The near 1:1 body proportions continue the design approach seen on the V23 and V27. The overall styling emphasises a strong road presence, while the adaptable exterior and accessory options support different personalisation preferences.

For Saudi buyers, the V25's squared-off design may appeal to those looking for an SUV that looks equally suited to everyday city driving and outdoor trips. However, its actual off-road capability will depend on specifications such as ground clearance, suspension, tyres and available driving modes, which have not yet been disclosed.

REEV and Fully Electric Powertrain Options

The iCAUR V25 will be available with two electrified powertrain options, giving buyers different approaches to electric mobility.

• Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV): Uses an electric drivetrain supported by a range-extending system, providing an alternative to relying entirely on external charging.
• Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV): Runs on battery-powered electric motors without a combustion engine acting as a range extender.

The V25 also features iCAUR's Intelligent Electric All-Wheel-Drive (i-AWD) technology, designed to provide additional traction and versatility across different driving conditions. However, the manufacturer has not yet announced the battery capacities, motor outputs, electric driving range, charging speeds or acceleration figures. It is also unclear which powertrain and drivetrain combinations will be offered in Saudi Arabia.

Interior Practicality and Customisation

The V25's interior is designed around flexibility and practicality, although detailed cabin specifications and equipment lists have not yet been released. iCAUR is also placing considerable emphasis on personalisation, allowing owners to adapt their vehicles through accessories and aftermarket modifications. The brand's approach is intended to support different lifestyles, including outdoor activities and individual styling preferences.

At its 2026 International User Summit, iCAUR introduced its inaugural MOD FEST, showcasing customised versions of its V-series vehicles. The event highlighted how modifications and accessories could become part of the ownership experience.

iCAUR V25 and the Brand's Global Expansion

The V25's unveiling comes as iCAUR expands its international presence. The brand operates under China's Chery Group and says it is targeting more than 40 markets worldwide. The V25 was showcased alongside the V23 and V27 at the International User Summit, where the company presented its upcoming products and discussed its focus on vehicle personalisation and customer communities. This provides an indication of the brand's activity in the wider Gulf region.
