SAUDI ARABIA : Range Rover SV Black showcases the classic elegance of an all-black colour scheme. The result is the darkest and stealthiest Range Rover ever made.

The Range Rover SV line is all about luxury and personalisation. Now it adds a new model, the striking SV Black, alongside the existing SV Serenity and SV Intrepid. Each version offers a different take on modern luxury, from the dark, elegant finish of SV Black to the bold, dynamic feel of SV Intrepid and the pure, refined style of SV Serenity.

Range Rover is pushing comfort even further with new sensory tech. It introduces Rear Body‑And‑Soul‑Seats and Sensory Floor technology, exclusive to SV models. For the first time, Body‑And‑Soul‑Seats come as standard across the whole SV range. 

The innovative Sensory Floor adds a new level of relaxation by combining with the seats to create a calming, immersive experience. Six wellness programmes help occupants feel more relaxed, making every drive feel special.

Innovative Body‑And‑Soul‑Seat and Sensory Floor technology

Range Rover has upgraded its Body‑And‑Soul‑Seat (BASS) system with unique Sensory Floor technology. This new feature adds haptic feedback through the floor mats along with the seats, creating a full-body audio experience. It uses four transducers in the front and rear footwells to send pulsations that match the sound from the Meridian Signature Surround System. 

The deep-pile carpets allow occupants to remove their shoes to feel the music even more. The system works with BASS wellness programmes that help relax or energise passengers with six different modes. 

These modes can lower stress, boost focus, and improve mood. The Sensory Floor is standard on all long‑wheelbase Range Rover SV models, making the driving and riding experience more immersive and calming. 

Industry-first tyres

Range Rover will introduce a new type of tyre in 2025 that’s a world first for the industry. These are special Pirelli P Zero tyres designed for the entire range. They deliver strong performance and long life, but also use more eco-friendly materials. Over 70 per cent of these tyres are made from bio-based and recycled ingredients. 

These tyres contain recycled steel, silica from rice husks, and plant-based oils and resins. The natural rubber used is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Initially, these tyres will be offered on some 22-inch wheels on Range Rover models.

Sleek and Stealthy Look

Range Rover SV Black marks the ultimate all-black version of the luxury SUV, featuring a sleek, stealthy look. The exteriors are finished in glossy Narvik Black, making every detail shine like a black mirror. The grille and the bonnet lettering are in polished black, accompanied by matching dark accents on the oval badge.

The 23-inch alloy wheels are finished in gloss black. Further, the black brake callipers and the black ceramic SV roundel at the rear add a subtle touch of contrast.

Interiors

The cabin features soft, satin black leather and black birch veneers. The seats have distinctive perforations and fewer seams, while the satin black ceramic gear shifter adds a cool touch. Moonlight Chrome accents create a dark, rich feel throughout the interior. The SV Black comes in five- or four-seat long wheelbase versions.

Performance

The Range Rover SV Black Edition is equipped with a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. It produces 606 hp and 750 Nm of torque. This powerful engine helps accelerate the car from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.5 seconds.

Launch

Available late 2025, it will be previewed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from 10-13 July 2025, alongside Sport SV Black.
