They design this version for long-time electric car fans and also for drivers still considering to switch from fuel-powered vehicles. It has improved range, new styling for interior and exterior, and many smart tools with the aim of making it simpler to own an EV.

Sleek New Look Meets Smart Design
The new look of LEAF follows Nissan’s “Timeless Japanese Futurism” style. The bold fastback shape, aero wheels, flush door handles, and a flat underbody help reduce drag to just 0.26 in US models and 0.25 in Europe.
The front has a refined V-motion grille, which is available with a full-width lightbar and an illuminated Nissan logo. There are 3D holographic tail lights at the back and 19-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the flat floor design helps open up more space for passengers. Smooth, Quiet, and Ready for Anything
The latest LEAF, which is all thanks to a new 3-in-1 EV unit, is 10% more compact than before. It brings smoother performance and lower vibration of up to 75% less than the last model.
Nissan has added Intelligent Distance Control Assist, which adjusts following distance and supports regenerative braking in traffic. These upgrades help drivers of the LEAF stay calm during city driving and give them capable long-distance trips.
Lifestyle and Charging Features
This LEAF adds real-world tools for drivers. Some selected US trims, for camping or emergencies, offer two 120V outlets and up to 1500W of power. There is a V2L adapter that allows external charging of devices directly from the vehicle.
Japanese models still offer Vehicle-to-Home support, and future European versions will be compatible with Vehicle-to-Grid so as to feed energy back to the grid.
Drivers can easily, with Nissan’s Intelligent Route Planner, track the status of the battery and find charging points along their journey. Production will happen in Tochigi, Japan and Sunderland, UK. Global rollouts will begin this autumn, and they will announce pricing on a later date.
