Saudi Arabia: CEER, Saudi Arabia's first homegrown car brand, has taken its first real step toward revealing its long-awaited Electric vehicle. The brand has published a set of teaser images that give a glimpse of the car's design and some of its key components. The move comes as the company approaches the start of production at its industrial complex in King Abdullah Economic City, targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026.

Sitting above the separate main lighting unit below it, looks very clean and creates a future-facing identity CEER has been building toward. This showcases great visibility and the greater efficiency and precision in the design of CEER. 

Brakes Built for Saudi Arabia's Heat

Another thing highlighted in the photos is the braking system. Teaser images show the brake disc working under high-temperature conditions. CEER says the braking system was engineered to maintain consistent performance even in extreme heat and demanding driving conditions. This is a genuinely relevant detail that shows the car is being developed specifically for use in Saudi Arabia and the wider region's climate. Other crucial details like the rotor dimensions, brake type, or the number of pistons used are yet to be revealed to know the exact performance numbers. 

Material Quality, Without the Details

Another image highlights the material quality with a close-up of part of the vehicle's structure. It uses hand-selected material for lasting durability and maintaining quality and performance over the long term. 

Sedans and SUVs: CEER's Broader Lineup Plans

CEER has officially confirmed in the past that it's working on a family of electric vehicles including sedans and SUVs. It is planning to launch seven models over the next five years and build an extensive network of local suppliers. CEER is also targeting 45% of the components and materials it sources to come from Saudi companies by 2034.

The plant includes advanced production technology, including a paint facility developed in collaboration with Germany's Dürr.
