Orders open on 10 September 2026, deliveries start in December, with German prices from 38,200 euros.

    Audi uses two chemistries:

    • 52 kWh and 61 kWh: lithium iron phosphate (LFP) in a cell-to-pack design. Audi says it performs well at low charge and in cold weather.
    • 84 kWh: nickel manganese cobalt (NMC), modular design, fitted only to the 170 kW and 240 kW.

The 52 kWh LFP is the quickest to 80 percent at 24 minutes, simply because it holds less.

Bidirectional charging is optional. Vehicle-to-Load powers external devices from a trunk socket, but you have to have at least 20 percent charge.

    Efficiency by Design

Audi A2 e-tron Efficiency by Design

The A2 e-tron records a 0.24 drag coefficient, the best in Audi's compact range. It comes from:

    • A controllable cooling-air intake that stays shut on the highway
    • A largely enclosed underbody
    • Gap reducers in the wheel-arch trims, narrowing the gap between wheel and housing
    • New aero wheels, with the 19-inch setup the most efficient

The doors use fully electric handles rather than mechanical ones. Each door contains its own energy storage unit, so it still opens if the car's electrical system fails.

    • Qi 2.2 wireless charging for two phones at up to 25 W each
    • Three audio systems, topped by a 660 W Sonos setup with 14 speakers

    Conclusion

Overall, the Audi A2 e-tron marks a significant step in Audi’s push toward more efficient and accessible electric mobility. Once it comes to Saudi Arabia, its long-range 84 kWh versions could be particularly appealing for daily commuting between cities. However, Audi has not yet confirmed the A2 e-tron’s Saudi launch or pricing.
