Tempest and Gemini: Celebrating Discovery’s Legacy

The Discovery Tempest edition stands as the most luxurious Discovery to date. Its name nods to the secret development project for the second-gen model in 1998. It comes in Charente Grey, Varesine Blue, or Carpathian Grey – all coated with a Matte Protective Film for the first time in Discovery’s history.

A Petra Copper Gloss roof and trim, plus exclusive 22-inch wheels with copper-tinted lacquer, add elegance. Inside, Shadow Aluminium accents and full Ebony Windsor leather elevate the cabin’s premium feel.

Meanwhile, the Discovery Gemini edition is a tribute to the original 1989 model. Named after the Gemini codename of the iconic Tdi engine, it’s a modern homage to Discovery’s roots.

Available in six colours – including Sedona Red, unique to Gemini – this edition includes black roof and body details, Atlas Gloss grille trim, and special twin-hexagon graphics throughout. New 21-inch Diamond Turned wheels complete the sleek look.

Both editions are powered by the Ingenium D350 diesel engine, paired with mild-hybrid tech and an eight-speed all-wheel drive system. With 35 0PS and 700 Nm of torque, these SUVs can tow up to 3,500kg with ease.

Terrain Response 2 and All Terrain Progress Control ensure a smooth, confident drive even off-road, while 900mm of wading depth gives drivers peace of mind in challenging terrain.
