Volvo XC90

The new Volvo XC90 plug-in hybrid (T8) reaffirms its role as a luxury family SUV with strong EV credentials. This seven-seat SUV now features a modernized front fascia and Matrix LED headlights, while maintaining its sculpted Scandinavian elegance. The cabin features sustainable leather, an 11.2-inch touchscreen, panoramic roof and improved insulation. 

Launch

The new XC90 is set to officially arrive in Saudi Arabia by late 2025 as part of Volvo’s electrification strategy.

Price

The Volvo XC90 price in KSA will start from SAR 360,750, depending on the variant selection. 

Powertrain & Range

It is equipped with a T8 AWD Plug-in hybrid that consists of a 2.0 L turbo petrol engine (317 hp) with a 107 kW (145 hp) electric motor, producing a combined 462 hp and 709 Nm of torque. This combo offers up to 77 km of pure electric range and one‑pedal driving mode. 

Charging & Performance

You can charge the battery with a two-phase 16A AC charger from 0 to 100% in approximately 3 hours. The XC90 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds.

Features

The XC90 includes a 12.3-inch digital driver display 11.2-inch center display with Bowers & Wilkins premium speakers, a head-up display, Pilot Assist (semi-autonomous drive), off-road mode, adaptive air suspension, a panoramic sunroof and a tow bar.

Safety

It is loaded with City Safety collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, blind-spot detection, park assist, rear cross traffic alert, rear collision warning and surround-view cameras. 

Rivals

The new XC90 will compete with Audi Q5 PHEV, Mercedes GLE 450 and Land Rover Defender in the Saudi region.
