What’s New in the EC40 2026?

• October 2026: The Volvo EC40 is currently offered in Saudi Arabia as the 2025 EC40 Plus with a fixed panoramic roof. The 238 hp Single Motor offers up to 590 km of range, while the 408 hp Twin Motor offers up to 650 km. Official Saudi prices are not published.
• September 10, 2026: Volvo has revealed the updated EC40 with revised electric powertrains, a preliminary WLTP range of up to 585 km, a larger 11.2-inch screen, Google Gemini and new driver-assistance sensors. Saudi launch timing for the update has not been confirmed.
• April 30, 2026: EC40 owners with Google built-in are among those due to receive Volvo's Google Gemini AI assistant, which covers models from 2020 onwards. The rollout began in the US, with Saudi availability not yet confirmed.
