Nissan X-Trail 2.5L S 2WD 5-Seater

I drove the Nissan X‑Trail recently while looking for a daily SUV for school runs and short trips. The 2.5‑liter engine has decent power, and the CVT gearbox makes the drive very smooth in traffic. What I noticed is how comfortable the seats are, especially in the second row. It really feels like the kind of car made for a young family. The boot space is also big enough to handle grocery shopping or luggage. On the highway, the car felt stable even at 120 km/h. It may not be as powerful as bigger SUVs, but for city life and occasional trips outside the city, it really fits the budget and lifestyle well here in Saudi.

The X-Trail is decent size crossover which mixes efficiency and practicality, backed by its 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine and a 12V mild-hybrid system, that provide great performance figures The design of this SUV is quite contemporary, and the seven seats are biggest USP for families and bigger number of passengers. Features that are impressive include a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and a dual-zone climate system enhance comfort. Safety is taken care of by 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and parking sensors. With cruise control and wide-opening doors, the X-Trail is a combination of convenience, style, and decent tech.

Nissan X-Trail is a mid-size SUV that truly stands out for its flexibility. It has both 5-seater and 7-seater options as per your family needs. The robust 2.5-liter engine delivers 181 horsepower and 244 Nm of torque, which makes driving smooth. It is giving me around 6.2 L/100 km fuel range, the X-Trail is packed with modern amenities, including a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and advanced safety features like lane departure warning and blind spot monitoring. Its spacious interior and cargo capacity make it perfect for families and adventurers alike.

Apart from the price of the Nissan X Trail what I like the most is a spacious cabin, premium materials and soft seats. The SUV as compared to its peers has good ground clearance for city roads, and some of the key features that excites in the segment includes dual zone climate control, UV- reducing glass, hill assist and decent control, tire pressure monitor, etc. Also, there is an advanced cooling system ideal for hot weather conditions like Saudi Arabia. Overall, a good option in the mid-size SUV segment which is highly competitive.

I think in the compact SUV segment, Nissan has scored really well with the new X Trail. It looks quite strong and aggressive, has a good road presence and is very well packaged, both inside and out. Under SAR 150K, the X Trail is a good option in the growing three row SUVs. I looked at this Nissan, and liked the huge spacious cabin along with high quality material and soft seats, large boot. The cockpit is a lot more advanced than one would expect from a Japanese car, and the SUV drives well.

The X-Trail has been my go to SUV for over a year now, and there are several reasons for this car to become my favourite. First, the mild-hybrid powertrain with a powerful turbo engine with CVT makes daily driving fun even in heavy traffic. The X-Trail is well-equipped with a spacious cabin which has everything to feel at comfort and entertainment. I only wish the seats should improve, they aren’t the best but manageable. Then the SUV scores well in safety, mileage and also in terms of boot space.

The Nissan X Trail wasn’t my first choice when I bought it a year earlier this year, however, to my surprise, this powerful SUV has exceeded my personal expectations on several fronts. Starting from the high ground clearance that makes cruising on the highway awesome, the 2.5L engine has a lot more than one would want, the torque kicks in with mild accelerations, and driving X Trail is a joy not just on the highway but also in the city, as it takes on the traffic pretty well. Then the interior material, spacious cabin, and huge boot space are additional highlights of this SUV.

I had never seen such a beautiful huge and elegant looking SUV, I mean I was so impressed with the first look that I was all awe for it and everyone termed the Nissan X-trail’s best angle is the front profile look, something about it so mesmerizing. My only suggestion for anyone who is considering buying Nissan X-Trail is that either go for top-end or go buy different than X-Trail. And for these reasons are very simple, the top end has everything which mid and standard does not have, I mean of course. Plus, everything is digital and well-equipped best for me.

The X Trail is a cool car starting at SAR 100,000, and available in both 5 and 7 seat configurations for smaller and bigger family needs. After a test driver, I short listed this car for our family, actually the first Nissan that I ever considered. However, I’m looking at other options and will see if there is a better one, I liked this car for its looks, feel, and performance.

My friend had recently bought the Nissan X Trail in top end variant which is SL from Delhi it costed him around 28lacs on-road price in black color of course. I was not expecting prices to be so high but I think it was worth it. earlier I was not supporting this decision but after our first trip to Spiti from Delhi, I think I totally support him and admire Nissan X Trail. The mileage we got was apporx.25kmpl. For the first time I believe in safety features of any car and especially of Nissan X Trail as it saved our soul many times.
