Front Seat

First things first, the front seat of the Jetour T1 is quite comfortable with enough space for an average-sized driver, be it head or shoulder room. And, the driving position is quite high-up, and you feel in charge, with superb visibility, owing to the large windshield and slim A-pillars. The 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support can be personalised as per the driver’s choice and physical needs, which helps when you’re drivng long hours. Features like heated and ventilated seats help effectively manage Saudi Arabia’s extreme climate. Despite a competitive price, the car gets premium leather upholstery, giving it a luxury touch, while the leather-wrapped, tilt-and-telescopic multifunction steering wheel supports excellent posture. Importantly, we noticed the seats’ supportive cushioning reduces fatigue, and which makes the T1 well-suited for extended drives across varied Saudi terrains, mixing comfort and practicality in a competitive SUV package

Electronic Parking Brake

The T1 features an electronic parking brake (EPB) as standard, replacing the traditional handbrake to free up cabin space and improve convenience. And what is also interesting is that the EFB is nicely combined with hill-start assist, which is a great help in stop-and-go traffic in cities or even steep inclines in hilly regions. And the placement is such that it is located near the centre console, and so keeps the cabin clean.

Rear Seat

The T1’s second row offers generous legroom, headroom, and shoulder space, comfortably seating three adults, and the SUV is quite family-friendly. The bench seat has sliding and reclining functions that provide much needed flexibility, and with dual-zone climate control and rear air vents is vital comfort mainly during intense heat. The second row’s flat floor is such that we felt it would help in better passenger comfort, and also, the ISOFIX anchors are useful for families with kids. AC Vents

The T1’s dual-zone automatic climate control system seems to be quite highly powered, as we experienced that the cooling is excellent. The 2025 Jetour T1 has this unique boxy exterior design, inspired by classic off-roaders, with sleek lines and premium accents, which not only looks rugged but also modern, and easily singled out due to its special look. Front

There isn’t any difference of opinion among our team to call the T1 front a bold, rectangular grille with vertical slats, which exhibits strength and boosts airflow for engine cooling in Saudi Arabia’s extreme heat. The stylish LED headlights with integrated Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) are part of the appealing design, they are bright and shiny, ease nighttime driving and desert sandstorms.  The standard fog lights also help improve safety in low-visibility conditions, such as early morning mist, and with the curved hood and rugged bumper design, highlight the T1’s adventurous character, which makes it a perfect pick for city and off-roading.

Side

From the side, you can see a boxy, muscular design with clean lines and off-road-inspired elements. What also makes it look attractive and adds premium touches is the body-colored door handles and power-folding side mirrors with integrated turn signals. Similarly, the black cladding along the lower body protects against minor impacts on trails. The standard roof rails add practicality for carrying extra cargo for some special needs, also the shark-fin antenna adds to the aerodynamics, nicely blending into the T1’s strong and well-refined exterior design.

Alloy Wheels

The T1’s alloy wheels come in 18-inch and 20-inch sizes, quite suitable to offer a balance between style and performance. The Comfort gets 18-inch wheels with 235/60R18 tires for reliable grip on city and off-road driving. The Luxury trim’s 20-inch multi-spoke wheels with 255/50R20 tires not only give a stylish and sporty look, but also improve the stability on highways or gravel paths. Rear

Like the front and side profile, the rear of the T1 is functional and stylish, and the glossy, sleek LED tail lights attract attention. City Performance

Taking the T1 into the city and driving across all real-life conditions was super cool, smooth, and we received efficient performance, with the super-responsive power delivery from its turbo petrol  powertrain. The engine is not exactly great, but the credit is due to Jetour for refining it brilliantly with the 258 hp power kicking in whenever necessary, which is made even more pleasing by the DCT, which is extremely seamless with acceleration, which helps a great deal in stop-and-go traffic. What we also experienced is that the turbo petrol  system’s electric mode at low speeds indeed improves the mileage, which would be appreciated by a lot of buyers, as it drops your cost on running the SUV, if you happen to drive for an everyday commute. Also, the four-wheel-drive system is quite an important part of the driving experience, as it provides excellent traction on wet or sandy roads, and the compact size lets you park it easily. Further helped by the 360-degree camera and parking sensors.

Highway Performance

While the city drive was fun, the highway drive was even delightful, simply because of the T1’s key characteristics, including a strong and rugged body, superior aerodynamics and enough power at your disposal. It feels confident to cruise with steady power delivery, and the ride even at high speed smooth ride. The turbo petrol powertrain’s 390 Nm of torque is great for easy overtaking, while the four-wheel-drive system and tuned suspension enhance the overall stability at high speeds. Selecting the right drive modes from Eco and Sport makes your drive even smoother with a choice of Eco, which maximises fuel efficiency for long-distance drives across Saudi Arabia. Given the segment of the SUV, we’re pleasantly surprised that the noise insulation of the cabin significantly reduces road noise, which directly connects to your comfortable and relaxing cabin time, by delivering a comfortable cruising experience. The T1 is quite up to the mark for highway driving for family road trips.

Ride

Being a compact SUV, the T1’s ride quality is quite fulfilling, with a superior balance between comfort and control, no matter the type of road or terrain you’re driving on. This is certainly a strong element of it. The MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link independent rear suspension are nicely tuned and provide a good balance of ride comfort and handling stability, suitable for both urban driving and light off-road driving across different conditions. The suspension perfectly absorbs city potholes, highway undulations, and light off-road bumps, and makes the ride smooth. Jetour has managed the body roll quite well, with nice cornering, and the cabin remains quiet, protecting passengers from all kinds of things, including noise, dust, and harsh weather. The turbo petrol powertrain’s seamless transitions enhance refinement, which makes the T1 a balanced SUV, and enhance ride quality. 

Handling

Our experience with the Jetour T1 handling has been mixed, confident as it strikes a balanced and engaging driving, which most advanced compact SUV users in Saudi families will find good enough. It's light and precise steering, coupled with a robust four-wheel-drive system, works well to ensure excellent control and traction across almost all types of terrains we encounter in Saudi Arabia. The SUV is equipped with high-quality all-terrain tyres and the driver models help you for comfortable handling. The T1 has performed well across sandy dunes, gravel trails, and paved roads. Its compact size makes it nimble, especially in busy city traffic, and navigating it is rather easy. On winding roads, we noticed suspension and chassis maintain fine composure with minimal body lean, while strong braking performance improves safety and makes you feel confident. The turbo petrol powertrain delivers smooth, highly responsive power delivery, superbly complementing the overall handling dynamics for a comfortable yet capable ride.

At a very affordable price, you can own this rugged and strong compact SUV, which is also budget-friendly to the tune.
• T1 Luxury (SAR 108,900): The top-end Premium variants come with 20-inch wheels, leather upholstery, heated/ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, power tailgate, and advanced safety features like Blind Spot Monitoring and Adaptive Cruise Control. If you can shell out a little extra, then this fully loaded model is a compelling choice too.
