KIA Sportage

My uncle drives a Kia Sportage and I often borrow it for family outings in Jeddah. It’s the perfect size, not too big, not too small. The 2.0L engine is efficient for city usage, and when we took it for a weekend trip to Taif, it handled hilly roads very well. The rear seats have good space and my kids love the panoramic sunroof. The touchscreen connects easily with my phone, and the rear camera is super clear while parking in tight places. The ride is smooth, even over speed bumps and rough city roads. Honestly, it feels like a well-thought-out SUV that balances comfort, modern features, and practicality, without burning a hole in your pocket on fuel.

The Sportage is slightly bigger than the Seltos, I checked with these SUVs recently, and I think both of them are equally promising in their own ways. However, we decided to buy the Sportage due to its bigger size, space and overall good design elements. It gets a bigger 2.5L engine, so higher power, very much our need considering a bigger family. In terms of features, cabin size and driving, I consider both the cars great, just the difference in size of the engine.

The overall design, the exterior look, and the premium interior of this SUV are great. It drives well too. I have been using it since 2022, and my top-end models came loaded with everything that I wanted being a first time SUV buyer. The over three years of ownership experience of my Kia has been painless and I like the way the car is now getting better every single year. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical about the durability but again this Korean automaker proved me wrong which I feel happy about.

KIA Sportage is a good SUV for the 5 seater segment. The car comes with a 2.5 l cylinder engine reducing 187 horsepower. Interior of car specials and comes with a panoramic sunroof. Also the boot space of the car is great with the luggage capacity of 637 liters. The car comes with safety features such as forward collision assist and blind spot collision warning. Also the 10.25 in touch screen system is combined with Harman Kardon sound system making a good surround sound experience.

The Sportage is a sporty car with long wheelbase of 2680mm, and the car comes with spacious luggage capacity, and superior driver space. The interior are quite premium with ergonomic seats, with the addition of panoramic sunroof the car is design nicely. I liked the top features including the forward collision avoidance Assist, blind spot collision warning, rear cross traffic collision warning set it apart in the segment. With a starting price of SAR 110,000, I think it is worth considering.

The interior is spacious and functional also. The 10.25 inch touch screen has Android and Apple connectivity for seamless navigation and media playing. The safety features such as blind spot monitoring and lane keep assist enhances that driving pleasure. But the use of some hard plastics and firm ride quality on uneven roads may not appeal to everyone. Overall it is a solid choice with a mix of technology, safety and style.

The interior may feel modern but still has some places with hard plastic. The 10.25 inch touch screen sometimes feels sluggish and slow. Also the last row doesn't feel the air conditioning as good as the middle row and top row. The fuel efficiency is average in its class. Also the right quality may feel firm during uneven patches of the road.

Sportage is a good SUV with a combination of style,performance and practicality. The exterior looks good with LED headlights and 19 inch alloy wheels. The safety features such as blind spot monitoring and forward collision warning provide confidence while riding. It has a 2.4 l engine which produces 181 horsepower in total. The interior is spacious and well designed. It comes with a 10.25 inch touch screen system with connectivity for Android and Apple phones as well. It offers a perfect package with modern technology and luxury. Thus making it a top choice for many drivers.
