I bought the Elantra last month after a close tie between Toyota Corolla, it was a difficult choice but ultimately, Hyundai prevailed over Toyota. I think the Elantra is just a better packaged, well-equipped and nicely designed sedan in the segment. The price wasn’t a big issue, they are almost similar brackets but when compared, Elantra suited me more than Corolla. This is pretty clear from the driver of over a month now, I just love the handling of the Elantra, Hyundai has done a lot better improvement in this Sedan. I like the touch screen, super connectivity and very comfortable, luxurious cabin with soft seats.

My cousin, who is not only a great fan of Sedan but also Hyundai and so he purchased the new Elantra about two months ago. And, I happened to spend a good amount of time with the car, went for a long 3 day drive, and also did quite city driving here in Jeddah. Although I saw the Elantra before, with such a closer look and time with the Sedan, I got impressed with the way Hyundai has refined this sedan. It has good cabin features, comfort and safety, and boot space along with brilliant driving dynamics. I quickly found out why my cousin really loves Hyundai cars.

At a starting price of under SAR90K and top variants under SAR 120K for this premium luxury sedan of Hyundai is a big bargain. The Elantra has the aura of luxury, elegant design and comfort, aside from the proven 2L petrol engine that gives you a solid 147hp of power and super 180 Nm of torque. These figures are sufficient to take this Sedan to everyday city drive, and even ideal for highway drive, and you get decent mileage even with the luxury and comfort. The car is smooth to drive with enough power and the 7-speed automatic is smooth. Hyundai has kept the Elantra true to its character.

One of my favorite Hyundai sedans which now get even better after the 2024 updates. After waiting on the sideline for a few months, I finally purchased the Elantra for mostly family use and leisure drives. What sealed the deal for me, was the much-needed revamp that Hyundai made in this latest facelift. The interior has gotten even nicer now, and you will notice the significant upmarket feel you get inside this sedan with improved quality of materials. I think the driving dynamics have improved with the softer suspension, easy steering, and fine-tuned engine.

After getting to a stage in my life where everything seemed figured out, I was unable to decided on one thing and it was buying a car for myself. After a lot of inquiries and test drives ii bought Hyundai Elantra. Honestly, it was my first choice because nowadays sedan is a luxury in itself and secondly, I was quite attracted to looks and third, it has everything with utmost comfort and affordability then why to go and spend more for something is which is meaningless. Apart from this one thing which I respect and love about Hyundai’s Elantra is its comfort during long hour journeys.
