SAUDI ARABIA : Lamborghini is gearing up to launch the much-anticipated successor to the Huracan at Monterey Car Week in California on August 16. This new model, codenamed 634 and likely to be named 'Temerario,' is expected to continue Lamborghini's transition into electrification.

    This move from the global automaker comes after its Urus SE and Revuelto,  both of which are plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). The announcement was made in a press release detailing the sales of the brand in the first half of the year.

    Lamborghini's Electrified Future with the Temerario

    The upcoming Lamborghini model, 'Temerario,' is one of the most awaited supercars of the year. Following in the footsteps of the Urus SE and Revuelto, the Temerario marks Lamborghini's next big step into electrification. The new model will come integrated with a PHEV V8 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged engine. It will replace the iconic 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 engine of the Huracan. 

    The combustion engine in the Temerario will deliver around 800 hp and 730 Nm of torque, surpassing the Huracan STO's V10. Also, an electric motor integrated between the dual-clutch transmission and the V8 engine will add 150 hp and 300 Nm of torque. This perfect configuration is likely to make the new model a powerhouse on wheels.
