Kia EV5 Brings Real-World Electric SUV Power to Families and Adventurers

Saudi Arabia : Kia has revealed the all-electric EV5, a family-friendly SUV designed for modern life. It has bold styling, smart interior tech, and real driving practicality.

Kia has taken another firm step in its EV journey with the launch of the EV5—an all-electric C-segment SUV which it aims at families and outdoor explorers.

The Kia EV5, positioned between the EV6 and EV9, has the bold character of an SUV and practicality for everyday use. It also supports daily commutes and weekend trips since it has smart tech and flexible space.

Designed to Fit Everyday Life

Kia has built the EV5 to offer comfort and function in a real-world package. With a total length of 4,610 mm and a wheelbase of 2,750 mm, it sits firmly in the midsize SUV class, with a bold stance and generous interior space.

The Star Map LED daytime running lights and digital tiger face in the front offer a futuristic yet clean identity. It has a boxy shape, sharp fenders, and rearward D-pillar around the sides, which highlights its rugged yet family-ready personality. The rear is finished with a wide tailgate and strong bumper, which adds to the solid SUV look of the EV5.

On the inside, there is a clean layout that creates a calm, airy space. A panoramic wide display includes 12.3-inch cluster and infotainment screens, plus a 5-inch climate panel.

The wide center console adds flexible storage, while rear seat-back tables and fold-flat second-row seats allow cargo or sleeping setup. The optional three-zone climate system and reclining massage seats turn the cabin into a mobile lounge.

The EV5’s traction-enhancing all-wheel drive and i-Pedal 3.0 one-pedal system allow users to have easy control in many driving conditions. It has Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and ready-for-future Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) features that allows it to power devices at camp, work, or during outages.

What powers the cabin tech is the ccNC system from Kia, which offers Over-the-Air updates, Harman Kardon audio, and customizable screen themes. Kia’s Bold Motion Symphony provides a unique, rich sound profile inside the car.

Confidence Comes Standard

The EV5, with seven airbags and a reinforced body, is built to meet safety standards in KSA. It also features the latest ADAS tools from Kia, which includes Highway Driving Assist 2 (with Hands-On Detection), Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist.

Kia will begin the rollout of the EV5 in the second half of 2025, with KSA deliveries expected soon after.
