October 2026: The Kia EV5 electric SUV is listed from SAR 128,570 at Aljabr and SAR 185,149 at NMC, including VAT. The gap between distributors is large, so buyers should confirm the exact variant and battery quoted.
February 2026: Aljabr Trading Company gave Kia owners, including EV5 owners, a 25% discount on maintenance and spare parts during Ramadan 2026. Five percent of each bill went to the Efaa association at no extra cost.
January 2026: Aljabr reportedly let EV5 buyers pay SAR 67,753 upfront and settle the balance after two years, with the vehicle value starting from SAR 135,506. The offer ran until January 31, 2026.

Nice looking electric SUV with great performance

I got to see the Kia EV5, and was very impressed with its design and overall presence on the road, quite special for an all-electric SUV. Beyond looks, the EV5 is quite excellent when it comes to electric performance with the 215 hp motor, going 310 Nm of good torque for a nice powerful drive. It is developed for efficiency, and interestingly supports ultra-fast charging, with 80% charging in less than half an hour. What is more is the superb 550 km per charge, and perfect long-distance SUV ideal for Saudi Arabia’s expanding EV market.
