MG 7 2.0L Turbo Base

My friend got the new MG 7. The sleek coupe-like design catches the attention. The turbocharged 2.0L engine had good acceleration and felt lively on the highway. Inside, the layout is modern with digital screens that give a high-tech feel. The seats are quite comfortable and there’s good legroom at the back. On the Corniche, I noticed people staring at the car because it really looks premium for its price. For someone who wants a stylish sedan with advanced features but doesn’t want to spend German-car money, the MG 7 is a great deal. It’s a rising brand that really delivers value.

Two days ago I took the test drive of the MG 7 along with my family members at their Medina dealership. The overall experience has been phenomenal, we like the customer service and got great pricing as well. But more importantly, the MG7 has impressed us in almost every aspect. The size, features, look, comfort, safety and also powerful engine and overall driving experience. Not just myself but my wife and kids too liked this MG sedan. If everything goes well, we’re going to buy the MG 7 next month.

While the market is going crazy with SUVs, I think the MG is offering some of the compelling sedans in the market right now. The MG 7 sedan is one such example, at a price range of SAR 120, you’re getting a pretty great deal. The size, huge cabin space and boot, along with great comfort, safety and a very premium feel inside the car, thanks to the high quality materials and soft touch seats. The 1.5L engine provides a superb 185hp of power, and the car has superb driving dynamics.

After considering several Japanese and Korean brands, I finally bought the MG 7 largely due to what it was offering within the price point. The MG 7 looks quite appealing but when it actually drives and feels the car, it has a lot to offer. The brand is slowly gaining traction in the Saudi market but I’m happy with the overall deal of the MG7. A 2L engine, 260hp of power, 405 Nm of torque. 9-speed auto, along with a premium cabin with 6-way electric seats, rear AC vent, infotainment, smartphone connectivity and premium speakers for music, etc at a good price.

The MG 7 is unlikely a typical MG, I say so simply because of the way this sedan is designed. With the sharp curve on the side, elegant front, and sleek side and back, the MG 7 looks stunning. I think the 2024 has been the best in the company’s line-up, and this executive sedan can also be a suitable family car with its spacious cabin, comfortable interior, and plethora of features. I also liked the generous trunk space. I like my first drive, and I will most likely decide after I check out two rivals in the segment.
