Hyundai Inster Updates

Hyundai's newest electric vehicle is a stylish, entry-level electric SUV that aims to stand out. The Inster balances elegance, technology and comfort for a smooth driving experience. It challenges what you might expect from vehicles in its class.

The Inster offers a roomy interior and a bold, eye-catching look. It’s built to be the perfect space for your daily needs.

Price in KSA

The Hyundai Inster price in KSA is expected to start from SAR 118,000.

Variants

The Hyundai Inster 2025 is expected to be available in a single variant:

  • Inster Long Range

Battery and Performance

The compact electric car gets a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) with a 42kW lithium-ion battery in the standard trim and a 49kW battery in the extended-range model. Likewise, the standard model develops 97 PS and 147 Nm torque, offering 327 km of driving range, the extended version produces 115 PS and 147 Nm torque, delivering a range of up to 370 km.

As far as charging time is concerned, the standard model takes about 6.5 hours to charge from 10-100 per cent using single-phase wall box 7.4kW charger, the extended model takes about 6.44 hours for the same. For charging 10-100 per cent using an 11kW 3-phase wall box charger, the standard and extended versions take 4 hours and 4.35 hours, respectively.

Both models support 50kW and 150kW fast charging, which takes the same amount of time to charge from 10-80 per cent.

Safety

Inster offers a top safety and driver assist system in its segment with aspects like multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, and tyre pressure monitoring. The vehicle also includes a Surround View Monitor for a 360-degree view, Lane Following Assist, and Forward Collision-avoidance Assist with Junction Turning.

Additional features are Highway Driving Assist 1.5, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Blind Spot Detection, and Parking Collision Avoidance.

Features and Specifications

The Inster looks like a micro SUV but offers a roomy interior with high head and leg space. Inside, it features a 10.25-inch digital display and a 10.25-inch centre touchscreen. The wireless charger in the compact console adds to the spacious feel. The steering wheel is similar to the award-winning IONIQ 5 and controls many functions.

It has Bluelink-connected car services, letting you use a smartphone app or touchscreen easily. Voice commands are available for quick access. Comfort options include a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and a retractable sunroof. You can choose from 64 different ambient light colours.

Other features include automatic climate control, split-fold rear seats, auto rain-sensing wipers, and USB-C ports at both front and rear.

The Inster is inspired from the petrol-powered sibling Hyundai Casper sold in Korea since 2021. However, its platform has been stretched and redesigned to fit a battery and an electric motor. Despite the changes, the car remains small with 3.8 metres in length and 1.6 metres in width.

The car has full-projection LED headlights and LED daytime running lights. It also comes with 17-inch alloy wheels. The design stands out with wide plastic-clad wheel arches and a clamshell-style bonnet. Roof bars add practicality, and the large rear LED lights resemble the eyes of a jumping spider.

Why Choose the Hyundai Inster?

If you want an electric SUV in Saudi Arabia with up-to-date features, the Hyundai Inster 2025 is a good choice. The new model combines useful technology with everyday practicality. Hyundai cars are known for being durable and offering good after-sales service, which adds to their appeal. With a decent driving range and the latest safety features, this SUV is attractive to car lovers in Saudi Arabia.
