GMC Sierra LD 5.3L Double Cab SLE

The Sierra LD is a monster pickup that has everything you need, a huge power 300hp and 580 plus Nm of torque, excellent 5.3L V8, 2WD and 4WD options, towing capacity of 4536 kg and strong built quality. The cabin is extremely comfortable and you feel totally protected, noiseless, with 13.4 inch digital touchscreen, 12.3 inch driver information providing everything about the vehicle. However, the Sierra LD is not certainly for everyone given the price, if you can afford, then there is nothing like it in the pickup segment.

Since my childhood I was all amazed with GMC cars especially the pick-up trucks because they all seemed like real monstrous cars and I was all fascinated to drive one, being a kid had its own privileges of dreaming. But then finally at 36years of age I have bought my first GMC Sierra a few months back. The fun of driving or flying my own GMC is like running after angels and getting married to one (I know bit creepy and funny satire but it is what I felt). The shinning black, expensive yet rich GMC Sierra is owned by me.

This GMC Sierra is undoubtedly the most exciting pickup that is available in the Saudi market right now. And why not, It is an upmarket, premium pickup available in both single and dual cap, looks stunning and strong, capable of taking on every terrain with easy and best cargo handling capabilities too. I think, the local market only offering the 2023 models, however, they are very well equipped with everything that you need. GMC Sierra is not just a workhorse but also quite premium in looks and feel, it gives a real profile to the owner. I especially liked the powerful V8 engine in 5.3L capacity and the famous 10 speed automatic, which makes it a real monster on the road. It impresses with its sound interior features including the center touch screen, information center, a 10 way power adjustable forts ventilated bucket seats, etc. A very luxurious and premium pickup in the market right now.

I think there are few brands who have the courage to go out of line and do something against its stone craved rule, and for GMC it was the red logo sign and for GMC Sierra it somehow changes the pattern and made it available in simple chrome effect. The overall appearance of the Sierra is bulky and huge and I would say as it is HUGE and BULKY. Over the front profile we can see some different styling and less chrome effect, I think GMC decided for Sierra to speak for itself, rather than putting out more light on it.

My friend had recently bought the GMC Sierra 1500 denali ultimate and it has been almost been 3 months since he has been driving and taking it everywhere, as if showing it around the town, well Sierra is a truck which needs a bit more than showing off and it well deserves that. So, we planned a trip to nearby place for vacation and it was the best driving experience we shared. It is well crafted and designed thinking way ahead of keeping future in mind. No wonder why GMC Sierra is so expensive and why only few could afford GMC.

GMC is one of the top brand and hell yes very competitive in the segment as well. Well, the only thing which I think it lacks is the looks as it looks like any practical pick-up truck and somehow many people like me thought GMC would do something different or unique with Sierra. The best part about GMC Sierra is that it would look fabulous in any color and especially dark colors. I also liked the interior and by that, I mean upholstery which was pure leather and giving out more of premium feel. Top and all I think GMC Sierra is no toy.
