We kind of loved the fit and finish, because they are magnificent, especially the tight panel gaps and durable materials, which underscore the brand's serious commitment to quality and longevity. Anyone, get mesmerised by the giant 17.7-inch diagonal touchscreen infotainment system, paired with an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, flaunting the redesigned centre console, yet another winning combination of the cabin. What we found interesting is the physical buttons and knobs complement the touchscreen, for cool operation, this is done by the rather stern feedback from customers, like many other OEMs, a welcome touch in a world of all-touch interfaces.

Front Seat

The SUV’s front seats are awesome, and you noticed how the best driving position is with superb visibility, thanks to a large windshield and slim A-pillars. The driver’s seat gets 12-way power adjustments with lumbar support and memory functions, which means no matter your size or shape, you can set it to your comfort and convenience. Another function that promises comfort is heated and ventilated front bucket seats, which provide relief from the Kingdom’s extreme heat. At the same time, premium leather upholstery takes care of that luxurious feel. What you would certainly admire is the redesigned three-spoke steering wheel, with a stalk-type gear lever, which is tilt-and-telescopic, a perfect driving posture. Rear Seat

The third row accommodates children or shorter adults, with power-folding capabilities for easy cargo access; like most three-row SUVs, we noticed the third row is a bit firmer, but it still provides reasonable legroom and headroom for adults up to around 6 feet tall. The tri-zone climate control with dedicated rear vents makes sure all passengers stay comfortable in Saudi Arabia’s intense heat, another feature in the long admiration of the Tahoe.

AC Vents

The Tahoe’s tri-zone automatic climate control system promises excellent cooling, fast enough front and rear AC vents, and is made to easily take on Saudi Arabia’s extreme temperatures. Through the digital climate interface, which can be accessed by the 17.7-inch touchscreen, you can make accurate adjustments, while rear vents ensure consistent comfort across all rows. The AC is strong and helpful in keeping the cabin a pleasant environment, even during long drives.

Storage Options

There is no dearth of practicality in Tahoe’s cabin with ample storage, which you noticed quickly after being in the cabin. The new centre console fits tablets or water bottles, while door-mounted cubbies and an in-dash shelf hold smaller items like phones or keys. The glove is large enough to help you store all your essential items, and the rear armrest includes cup holders for added convenience. Boot Space

Like the rest of the elements of this SUV, boot space is another highlight that families will find useful and practical, and not short of space. The standard boot space is 722 litres, not bad for everyday needs.  If you choose to fold the third row, it expands into 2,056 litres, and if you happen to fold both rear rows, it creates a flat load area of up to 3,479 litres, we say, superb for family vacations or camping. The AutoSense Power Liftgate, which opens automatically when within one meter, and a low liftover height are another great convenience and makes accessibility to the boot a lot easier.

The key elements that impressed us are powerful acceleration, but not much effort is required when you wish to overtake or zip through a section. Also, the stable handling bolsters confidence at high speeds on highway driving. The fuel efficiency of this monster SUV is indeed pretty decent, and your long drives won’t feel that expensive. The four-corner air ride adaptive suspension is a great delightful ride, helps in reducing fatigue. Some of the key features that help your highway driving are Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane-Keeping Assist, which also provide comfort and safety, making the Tahoe an ideal companion for cross-country journeys.

Ride
