Inside, the 2025 Expedition undoubtedly is luxurious. The new brings a 24-inch panoramic display which essentially combines a 12-inch digital cluster and a 13.2-inch touchscreen. There is Ford’s in-house Digital Experience, which is built in Google Maps and apps. The materials range from cloth in the Active to leather in the Platinum, with soft-touch surfaces, brushed aluminium, and woodgrain inlays are all appear to be quite premium. The cabin looks to be durable and can easily handle KSA's heat and dust, with durable plastics and stitching. Optional ambient lighting and a panoramic Vista Roof make the SUV look and feel premium.

Front Seat

The driver’s seat is comfy, with 10-way power adjustments, lumbar support, and memory functions.  The heated and ventilated seats keep you cool in KSA’s scorching summers. The leather-wrapped steering wheel allows controls for audio, cruise, and BlueCruise, keeping everything at your fingertips. You can use the massive center console as a work surface for business or family trips. 

Electronic Parking Brake

An electronic parking brake with hill-start assist, provided at the centre console, which assists in stopping on inclines or in traffic effortlessly. It’s a small feature that is big on convenience in busy city driving.

Rear Seat

The second row comes with an option of a bench or captain’s chairs for seven or eight seats, with 1,040 mm of legroom and power-reclining functions on higher trims. The third row is best-in-class, with 1,020 mm of legroom, perfect for adults or kids. Rear AC vents, USB-C ports, and an optional rear-seat entertainment system with dual screens make sure passengers are well taken care of during tough weather conditions, especially when up for a long road trip.

AC Vents

The highly powerful and effective Tri-zone automatic climate control with rear vents are your cabin's coolest features, making sure no matter what is outside, inside you are well taken care of. And, you can activate it with a voice command without getting distracted from driving. 

Storage Options

For cabin storage, there is a massive centre console, door pockets for 1-litre bottles, pockets behind the front seat and a glovebox for essentials. 

Armrest

Front and rear centre armrests can be used for comfort and also for storage with cupholders. They bring that extra comfort and practicality. add comfort and practicality. The front armrest doubles as a storage bin, while the rear one folds down for a relaxed vibe on long drives.

Charging Options

There are multiple USB-C ports, a 12V socket, and an optional wireless charging pad. The Platinum’s available 15-watt wireless charger and rear USB-C ports are a hit.

Boot Space

The Expedition, being a three-row SUV, has a lot of space inside the cabin and also in the boot, which has 592 litres of cargo space behind the third row. If you choose to expand for a special occasion when more luggage needs to be carried, it goes up to 2,962 litres with seats folded. The special Split Gate’s lower section stops items from rolling out, and the cargo shelf ensures everything is organised. The boot is large enough to fit multiple suitcases, a stroller, or camping gear, making it ideal for KSA family trips or work hauls.

The 2025 Expedition is stunning, with a bold, appealing design attracting attention on the road. With a commanding road presence with its  5,334 mm/5,636 mm length, 2,029 mm in width, and 1,940 mm in height, with a 3,112 mm wheelbase, it’s a true muscle SUV. 

Its 246 mm ground clearance is good enough to take on all manners of roads across Saudi Arabian cities and towns. You'll notice, the facelift has sharpened the front grille, giving it handsome LED lighting, and introduced a new Ford Split Gate for easier cargo access that also adds elements to the car's exterior.

Front

The front of the Expedition is bold and in-your-face, with a massive chrome or blacked-out grille (depending on trim) flanked by LED projector headlights with auto high-beam and dynamic bending. The Tremor trim adds auxiliary off-road lights and a skid plate for extra ruggedness. LED fog lamps ensure visibility in Saudi Arabia’s occasional dust storms or foggy mornings, while the sculpted hood adds a muscular vibe. It’s a look that says power and presence, perfect for KSA’s diverse roads.

Side

From the side, the Expedition balances utility and style. The boxy shape maximizes interior space, while chrome or black accents on window surrounds and side mirrors add a premium touch. Wheel options range from 18-inch alloys on the Active to 22-inch Magnetite-painted wheels on the Platinum. The Tremor’s 33-inch General Grabber all-terrain tires give it a rugged stance for desert adventures. Power-deployable running boards (on higher trims) make it easy to hop in, even in dusty conditions.

Alloy Wheels

The Expedition rolls on a range of wheels: 18-inch alloys on the Active (275/65R18), 20-inch on the King Ranch, and 22-inch on the Platinum (275/55R22). The Tremor gets 33-inch all-terrain tires for off-road grip. These wheels ensure great traction on highways or sandy trails, with tubeless radial tires built for Saudi Arabia’s hot climate.

Rear

The rear has a Ford Split Gate, with an upper liftgate and a lower tailgate that can be opened separately or together, and it allows you easy loading. The lower section doubles as a seat or table for tailgating, which is suitable for camping trips. The nice looking LED taillights with familiar body curve give the overall design a clean and functional look that points towards premium and sportiness.

Colors

You can choose among the eight available exterior colours of the Expedition in KSA right now. These include Agate Black, Oxford White, Iconic Silver, Dark Matter Grey, Star White, Rapid Red, Jewel Green, and Stone Blue.

City Performance

In Saudi cities, the Expedition’s 3.5L EcoBoost V6 is an ideal powertrain that gives you a relatively smooth and easy ride. The 10-speed automatic gearbox helps to make a relaxed drive as it shifts seamlessly. Then some features, including a 60-degree camera and parking sensors, add to your effortless driving, especially during heavy traffic or congestion, in general. Fuel economy is reasonable for its size, between 8-9km/L in city driving, with the high-output engine slightly less efficient.

Highway Performance

On highways, you get to play with the mighty power of this SUV; the 440-hp power of the V6 accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds, which means real fun when the highway is open.  Its 690 Nm allows effortless towing of up to 4354 kg. Also, the multiple drive modes like Normal, Eco, Sport, Tow/Haul, Mud/Sand enhance the performance considerably.  Thanks to the quiet cabin with laminated glass, you're at peace inside, no matter what is happening outside, be it traffic, road or wind noise, you are well protected.  

Ride and Handling

What determines the great ride quality and effortless handling is the Expedition’s fully boxed frame and independent suspension. The high ground clearance of 246 mm/269 mm on Tremor and the six-mode Terrain Management System take on any kind of light desert trails confidently. The Tremor’s upgraded suspension and all-terrain tires are brilliant for off-road. We feel the steering is extremely smooth, even for a big SUV like this, which makes handling better. The adaptive dampers and the strong engine are superb for handling, agile for its size.

Sayarabay Recommendation: Based on the time we spend with the car and in-depth analysis, our overwhelming recommendation is the Active Touring 4X4. For obvious reasons, it offers a superb balance between price, advanced features, and outstanding off-road capability, which serve really well in KSA’s wide variety of terrain.  Then there are plenty of luxury touches, four-wheel drive for desert and city use, and assurance of great performance credentials, without actually spending a lot for the top-end variants like the Tremor or Platinum trims. Anyone in the market for a full-size SUV should not ignore the Expedition simply because you’re getting a value-for-money package at the right price.

If you’re thinking about a full-size SUV, the Ford Expedition turns out to be the right choice, an all-rounder. It is three rows, meaning roomy and comfy, plus it’s got some serious towing power, so whether you’re doing school runs or planning desert trips, it handles both like a pro. The new design appears to be aggressive and sharp inside and out, with awesome tech and safety features that make driving in the city or off-roading confident and a real pleasure. It starts at about SAR 224,500, which is a good deal compared to Tahoe or Sequoia.
