The sedan gets a 48.3 kWh Ternary lithium battery that generates 161 hp and 240Nm torque, offering up to 401km of range. With this setup, the EU5 can get from 0- 100 kmph in 8.8 seconds, reaching the top speed of over 150 kmph. 

The battery can be charged either via a standard charger that takes around 9 hours for a full charge, or a fast charger that can juice up the battery from 30-80 per cent in about 30 minutes.

Safety Features

The EU5 comes with a range of safety features, including dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, an electronic stability program with traction control, EBA+BA, hill hold and hill descent control, tyre pressure monitoring system and driver’s seat belt reminder. 

Moreover, it has advanced aspects like rear parking radar, collision-sensing automatic unlocking, speed-sensing auto lock and low-speed pedestrian warning.
