ZEEKR 9X - Revolutionising Electric Vehicle Market with Luxury and Tech

Saudi Arabia : This was the first time China’s dual luxury flagship EVs appeared on an international stage.

• The Zeekr 9X features a single chrome grille, large wheels and wide doors.

At the start of the 21st Shanghai Auto Show, Zeekr revealed its complete range of luxury electric vehicles and new innovations. The company introduced its new flagship SUV, Zeekr 9X, for the first time globally alongside the ultra-luxury Zeekr 009 Grand Collector’s Edition, a four-seat model. 

Leading the Way in Electric Vehicles

During the global debut of the Zeekr 9X, An Conghui, the president of Geely Holding Group and CEO of Zeekr, said this was Zeekr’s first appearance at an international auto show since it was founded. Zeekr displayed its top models and reaffirmed its goal: to become a top name worldwide in premium new energy vehicles and to shake up the luxury car market in China and beyond. 

Zeekr is also challenging traditional luxury brands, not just in MPVs but also in the flagship SUV segment. The car is setting new standards for luxury SUVs across the globe.

Partnership for Smart Mobility in Saudi Arabia

As part of its plan to push electric driving forward in Saudi Arabia, Fahad bin Saad Al Olayan, chairman of Al Olayan Holding, praised the two new models as a great addition to Zeekr’s range. He said these cars raise the brand's level of luxury, innovation, and technology. They offer some of the most advanced and eco-friendly transport solutions. 

He added that the partnership between Zeekr and Al Olayan Trading continues to grow strong in Saudi Arabia. It helps shape the future of electric mobility in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

Styling - Zeekr 9X Sets a New Standard for NEV SUVs

The Zeekr 9X has a bold front design. It features the largest single chrome grille on any global SUV. The styling draws inspiration from royal palaces, giving it a look of strength. The design balances power with elegance, thanks to a tall roof, big wheels, and wide doors. 

It offers a comfortable and easy experience for passengers with the widest rear doors among energy-efficient SUVs. These doors are over a meter wide and can open almost 90 degrees, making entry effortless and matching the comfort of luxury MPVs.

Powertrain - Designed for Adventure and Strong Performance

The Zeekr 9X also sets a new record as the first super-hybrid SUV to use a 900V high-voltage system. It is powered by Zeekr’s own "Xiaoyao" battery, which provides a long electric driving range and quick recharging. This makes long trips more practical than ever for a hybrid vehicle. 

The SUV has a powerful electric drive setup with a 290 hp motor in front and a 370 hp motor at the rear. Its engine, a 2.0T hybrid indigenously designed, is considered one of the best in the world. The 9X can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in only 3 seconds, gaining a top speed of 240 kmph. This places it ahead of many other hybrid SUVs globally.
