Porsche Saudi Arabia Reveals Four Custom 911 Targa Models with Exclusive Green Roofs

Saudi Arabia: Porsche and local importer SAMACO Motors have unveiled a four-car customisation Sonderwunsch 911 Targa 'green roof 2.0 '. Celebrating the rich heritage, architecture and natural landscapes of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Each car features a signature green Targa roof paired with the exclusive Paint and Sample exterior finishes and a unique interior.

The Sonderwunsch Programme

Porsche describes the project as a deep collaboration between its Zuffenhausen specialists and SAMACO Motors, celebrating Saudi heritage.
Sonderwunsch, or 'special request', is Porsche's in-house division for the highest level of factory customisation. This four-car commission for the Kingdom is not a simple special edition. Developed between Zuffenhausen and local partner SAMACO Motors, it is a collaborative project. A one-off 'green roof' 911 Targa concept from 2023 started it; Porsche has since built that single idea into a four-car collection.

Photographing the cars at Bab Samhan in Diriyah is a deliberate choice. The location ties the vehicles to the Kingdom's landscapes and history. Factory involvement at this level is reserved for markets where Porsche sees significant demand for personalisation beyond the standard options list.

Four Distinct Specifications

The green Targa roof is the defining design element, paired with exclusive Paint to Sample finishes on each of the four cars. A green roof ties all four 911 Targa models together, but each is a separate commission with its own spec. Exterior and interior pairings differ across every car. The combinations draw from the full Sonderwunsch catalogue.

• Car 1: Fish Silver Grey Metallic paint, full Noto Green leather inside.
• Car 2: Malachite Green Metallic outside, Cohiba Brown leather inside.
• Car 3: Verde Zeltweg Metallic paint, black leather cabin, Noto Green accents.
• Car 4: Dark Olive Metallic outside, Nightgreen leather inside, with classic tartan fabric inserts on the seats.

All models ride on the 20/21-inch Carrera GTS wheels finished in black, with finelines and rim edges painted to match each car's exterior colour. Inside, headrests carry an embroidered 'Green Roof Targa' signature. Open a door and LED courtesy lights cast the Sonderwunsch logo onto the ground. Sport seats, the steering wheel, illuminated door sills, and centre console stitching all get bespoke treatment.
