2026 Audi Q3 - Cosmetic changes
The latest Q3 has a design that closely resembles the new Audi Q5. It looks like a smaller version of the bigger SUV. At the front, it features a single-frame honeycomb grille that seems to have taken inspiration from the Q5. The new split-headlamp setup stands out, with pixel-shaped daytime running lights above, which the brand teased some days back.
Beneath these lights are Matrix headlamps that contain 25,600 micro-LEDs. The side profile now features a line running across the upper window, extending to the D-pillar and merging smoothly into the rear windscreen.
Alloy wheel sizes range from 17 inches as standard up to 20 inches for bigger options. The back of the car features a split-light setup, new OLED taillamps and a sportier rear bumper with hidden exhaust pipes.
Interior upgrades
The Q3’s interior has been heavily updated, a change common among new models. The driver now has an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster. Next to it sits a 12.8-inch touchscreen that runs on Android Automotive OS. The three-spoke steering wheel has a new look and features touch-sensitive buttons.
One of the biggest changes is that the gear selector was moved from the centre console to behind the steering wheel. The car also gets Audi AI assistant, a premium 12-speaker Sonos sound system, and a range of the latest safety technologies.
2026 Audi Q3 – Engine and Performance
The Audi Q3 will be available in international markets with several engine options. These include two turbo-petrol engines, a diesel, and a plug-in hybrid. The line-up starts with a 150 hp, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine that features cylinder deactivation technology. Next is a more powerful 265 hp, 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, which comes with Audi’s Quattro four-wheel drive system.
The diesel option offers a 150 hp, 2.0-liter engine, without four-wheel drive. All three powertrains come with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The most talked-about model in this category is the Q3 Hybrid. It features a 25.7 kWh battery, pairing with the 1.5-liter TFSI petrol, offering a total power of 272 hp and 400 Nm torque. This version can drive up to 119 km on electric power alone. It also supports quick charging with DC fast chargers, which can fill the battery to 70 per cent in under half an hour.
