Discovery Sport Line-Up Grows With New Metropolitan and Landmark Editions

Saudi Arabia : Discovery Sport has just added more style and comfort with two new editions and fresh packs of accessories. This has helped raise its family appeal even higher without losing its charm of ruggedness.

Land Rover has just made some fresh updates to its range of family-friendly Discovery Sport. The latest additions, Metropolitan and Landmark editions, offer a smarter, more personal driving experience while still ensuring it is comfortable, spacious, and functional. The compact SUV now blends more luxury and flexibility than it has ever.

New Editions Raise the Bar

The Land Rover Discovery Sport Metropolitan is the flagship of the range. It draws inspiration from the larger Discovery Metropolitan. Exterior highlights include Atlas Silver branding on the hood and tailgate, inserts of silver foil grille, and optional Gloss Black 20-inch Diamond Turned wheels.

On the inside, the model has Windsor Leather seats with 14-way heating and cooling, a 650W Meridian Surround Sound System, Clearsight Rear View Mirror, and Cabin Air Purification Plus.

The Landmark edition honors Discovery’s history with mountain range badging, signature treadplates, and puddle lights. It has some features like panoramic roof, second-row slide and recline seats, and touches like roof rails and Click & Go media holders.

Interior Comfort and Function

Discovery Sport offers up to seven seats with 24 seat combinations. The interior has sliding and reclining second-row seats, plus a flexible load space of up to 1,794 liters. There's a floating center touchscreen and digital cluster that helps bring a modern touch, while stadium seating improves visibility from all rows.

The cabin materials are soft to the touch and made to be comfortable. The infotainment system has Pivi Pro with sidebars that can be customized for easy navigation of key functions. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard.

Powertrain Options for All Needs

Discovery Sport still has a mix of plug-in hybrid and mild hybrid electric engines. The plug-in hybrid offers a WLTP range of up to 36 miles in electric mode, which is enough for most daily trips.

It also supports DC fast charging, and can reach 80% battery in about 30 minutes. Mild hybrid petrol and diesel engines include 48-volt tech to improve the use of fuel and performance during urban drives.

The Discovery Sport, with the addition of the Metropolitan and Landmark editions, and some new accessories and updated hybrid options, is now more tailored to what modern families need in their everyday life.
