Toyota bZ4X

The Toyota BZ4X is Toyota’s attempt at an electric compact SUV. It is based on the brand’s newest all-electric platform and seems to be solid, at least on paper. Now while the car hasn’t officially been launched in KSA, we think it’ll be making its way here soon. So before it arrives to our shores, here is all that you need to know about this sharp-looking electric SUV.

Toyota hasn’t officially launched the car in KSA yet. That said, we expect the Toyota BZ4X price in KSA to begin from around the SAR 100,000 mark. If you’re seriously interested, you could even contact the nearest Toyota dealership for more info on the BZ4X. 

Variants 

Once launched, we think there will be just one Toyota BZ4X variant. And that will be the standard variant, one that we think could be priced around the SAR 100,000 mark.  

 Motor & Performance 

Globally, there are multiple Toyota BZ4X motors. For starters, the base FWD variant gets a 150kW motor, which translates it to around 201HP. The AWD trims, on the other hand, have two motors, each rated at around 80kW. The total capacity, then, is brought upto around 215HP. Finally, the top trim, which we think could make its way to KSA, has a massive motor rated at 252kW, which is around 338HP.  

Safety

The Toyota BZ4X features a lot of safety features. The basics like central locking, passenger airbags, power door locks, driver airbags, ABS, EBD, seat belt warning, night cameras are all there. There’s even height adjustability for seat belts as well as parking sensors all around. 

And then there are the fancy ones like engine immobilizer, parking assists, speed sensing door locks, ajar door warning and of course the first aid kit along with a fire extinguisher. 

 Features & Specifications

The Toyota BZ4X specifications is a long list. The touch screen TFT obviously has Bluetooth connectivity along with multiple USB charging ports all over. Apple carplay, Android auto, speakers, radio, you name it, the Toyota BZ4X has it all. 

The Toyota BZ4X interior is different from what we’ve associated with Toyota over the years. Usually Toyota cars have mild interiors, which don’t feel cheap but don’t feel too premium or nice either. The Toyota BZ4X, on the other hand, has properly premium interiors and they have a good feel to them. The plastics aren’t too hard and you will even see a bunch of premium touches here and there. 

Toyota BZ4X exterior, similarly, is different from other Toyota cars too. The Toyota BZ4X is edgy and sharp and looks like a proper modern-day electric vehicle. The big wheels, fancy looking bodywork, compact yet sizeable overall size and a lot more, all contribute to the overall feeling of something substantial and premium.
