• The entire cockpit is nicely laid out with clear visibility across and spaciousness. The design is pretty simple, and the toggle switches and funky controls are easier to use.
• Cabin colour options include black or black-and-grey dual-tone schemes.
• The interior is impressive, and feels energetic and visually pleasing, and feels comfy
• We noticed there is enough Hard-wearing plastic to make sure it is durable and reminds you this is an off-road SUV.
• The infotainment integrates with the overall design, easy to access all the controls and quite functional too..
• So, overall, nothing to complain about something that is altogether out of place; everything mostly fits in with a subtle approach to the whole design.

Driving Position

• The driver’s seat definitely feels higher and gives you control over the SUV, best visibility and comfortable seating with a nice grip.
• A relatively higher seating position means you can drive confidently.
• The driver seat comes with several adjustments and also offers lumbar support.
• The standard tilt-adjustable steering wheel ensures you get the best position to drive.
• We didn’t feel real issues with steering, which is electric power
• Overall, the Jimny has enough focus on driver comfort and agility, given that it is an off-road special, but does a good job for city driving too. 

Passenger Comfort

• Getting into the back seat isn’t the easiest task, as door openings are square but tiny and make entry and exit less convenient.
• But once you’re at the back, there is enough space for an average-sized adult with comfortable headroom and legroom. 
• The rear seats mostly feel compact and suitable for two passengers, with limited space suitable mostly for short trips or children.
• The seatbacks recline in two steps, which offers fairly good comfort
• The pear passengers do not have dedicated air vents or USB charging ports.

Storage

• Even though Jimny is a compact SUV, the interior storage is decent, with a lot of focus on practicality.
• The storage spaces include a glovebox and a storage pocket behind the front passenger seat for easy access.
• The front door pockets allow small items like maps or bottles.
• A decent-sized central cubby hole near the gear lever can fit small essentials.

Boot Space

• The Jimny has a compact boot space of approximately with rear seats up, suitable for small luggage or daily essentials. Remember, this isn’t the biggest SUV, and so you will get much less than any regular car. 
• However, after folding the rear seats, the space increases significantly, which then frees up space to carry bigger luggage, be it for a road trip or outdoor gear or camping equipment, but keep in mind, you don’t get a completely flat floor. 
• Overally, there is a limit to boot size that means you can’t carry larger luggage, which makes it slightly less practical for long trips, but for short trips, you are just fine.

Ride and Handling

Now on to the most exciting part of the review, which is the driving experience and overall handling of this rugged SUV

• Starting with the ride quality, we felt the Jimny drives really well, just like a much bigger car. And, given its overall character, no matter where you’re in the tough terrains or city potholes, you hardly feel them. 
• While driving, we found this compact, relatively affordable SUV is quite authentic, real and comes with its own identity with exciting capabilities. 
• Not, the Jimny is best when you take it to its preferred environment, which obviously is the off-road. In this, despite the tough and challenging road with water, gravel and mud, the Jimny is highly capable. 
• Whether it is acceleration, quick turnaround or higher speed, it takes it all comfortably.  

• The AllGrip Pro 4WD system provides you with switchable 2WD/4WD modes and low-range gearing for superior traction on hilly or rocky trails, on sand dunes and rocky trails.
• Now, if you take it for a change to a city drive, the Jimny feel easy, flexible and also comfortable to cruise

• The K15B, 1.5L, 4-cylinder engine is not bad; it offers power and torque adequately, and doesn't feel underpowered whenever you need those performance elements. 
• The 5-speed automatic transmission is not the best, but functional and works fine.
• Since it is an off-order, we found the cabin is quite silent with effective control of the noise.

Consider the Jimny, your affordable all-wheel drive compact SUV, and so it does get most of the wow features, but it doesn’t deserve to be compared with expensive rivals. There are plenty of nice features that should make your experience great as far as entertainment, comfort, convenience, and connectivity go.

• GL MT is the base variant that comes with the same powertrain, but the only thing different is the five-speed manual transmission. This variant offers an entry into this off-road SUV at a very affordable price without missing out much, and serves the purpose quite well.

• GLX AT is a top-end variant with the same 1.5L engine, which pairs it with a four-speed automatic transmission. Besides the regular features, since this is a premium model with a higher price, you get additional features like a 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, a leather steering wheel, cruise control, and additional airbags, front automatic AC, front lamp washer, and cruise control. So, if you wish to pay that premium, then go for the GLX AT, which should be an ideal choice for those who prefer a fully loaded Jimny with greater convenience and safety features.

SayaraBay Recommends: Since there are only two variants available for KSA, you don’t get to choose much other than a manual or automatic gearbox. The Jimny is not hard to recommend simply because it is quite affordable, an all-wheel drive and an off-road compact SUV in the market right now. With its strong build quality, easy to drive and capable engine, you are spoiled for a true off-road experience in our famous deserts without worrying about breaking anything. Not just that, but the Jimny could be your everyday drive too, yes, it can be simply because it is compact, easy to park, manoeuvre, so fulfilling the unique dual role.

If you’re already into adventure/off-road driving and love a 4x4 car, then you frankly don’t need much convincing for the Jimny. However, if you’re looking to get your first 4x4 car and exploring options, then we would recommend the Jimny as a great option for you. Starting at what we would call a modest price for an all-wheel drive SUV, starting from SAR 93000, this would be your gateway into the Off-road arena. The Jimny undoubtedly has a proven off-road capability; its compact size means you can use it for city driving as well. And, quickly honestly, Suzuki in this new version has equipped the Jimny well with all the usual elements including the 1.5L engine and AllGrip Pro 4WD system, and we have already stated the exterior and interior quite detailed, the Jimny is a the best option in the market for off-road enthusiasts, adventure seeker and anyone looking for fun to driver characters in KSA.
