A Design That Mixes Style with Purpose
The CLA Shooting Brake, from the front to the A-pillar, keeps the same look as the CLA sedan, with a sharp front face, signature light strip, and tight silhouette. But from there, it becomes unique with an extended roofline that leads to a sloped rear with oval LED tail lights.
It has a visible subtle luxury in the aluminum roof rails, frameless doors, and clean surfacing. The shape is not bulky like SUVs but gives a sporty yet refined profile. Mercedes has also worked on aerodynamics as the longer roof helps with airflow by cutting drag and increasing range.
With this, Mercedes claims the electric models will deliver up to 761 km, 472 miles, under WLTP tests. This is all thanks to the sleek body and high battery capacity of the car.

A Practical and Smart Cabin
On the inside, the CLA Shooting Brake comes with the latest MB.OS infotainment system. It also has an AI-powered MBUX that brings eye tracking, a passenger touchscreen, and a sharp setup of display. The panoramic roof adds brightness but uses thermal glass to keep the cabin cool or warm when need be.
This roof also features smart ambient lighting. At night, LED stars across the glass glow in different colors, which is a first for Mercedes.
What also makes this model stand out is the storage space. The rear trunk holds 455 liters, which expands to 1,290 liters when the seats are down. There is also a 101-liter frunk up front that adds more room for tools or cables.
