Kia EV4 Officially Revealed: Full Specs, Trims, and Global Rollout Plans

SAUDI ARABIA : Kia has introduced the EV4, which is its first dedicated compact electric sedan. It has a blend of bold design with smart features.

• It comes with up to 630 km range (WLTP) and 29-minute DC fast charging.
• It also has a next-gen cabin with Rest Mode, sliding table, and digital upgrades.

Kia has unveiled its all-new EV4 and that marks a big phase in the brand’s strategy on electrification. It has built this C-segment electric sedan to appeal to a wide range of drivers across global markets.

Kia EV4, which the company designed on the E-GMP platform, promises long driving range, rapid charging, and premium in-cabin features.

According to Ho Sung Song, who is the President and CEO of Kia, “Kia has, with the EV4, spared no detail to transform the C-segment electric sedan sector. We have designed it to blend top design, advanced technology and features that will compel users.”

Design That Stands Out

Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy is what the company has used to make the EV4 to come out with sharp exterior lines and clean surfaces.

Kia has built the EV4, which is available in sedan and hatchback forms, with sustainability in mind. It makes use of recycled materials in interior and exterior parts.

It has backed the sleek profile by aerodynamic elements like a full underbody cover and an impressive 0.230 Cd drag coefficient.

The lighting options, which are all innovative, include a Total Inner Reflection (TIR) low beam, cube projection lamps, and dynamic welcome lights. To add to its distinct look, the company gave a floating tail lamp in the non-North American models.

Interior: Built for Rest and Work

The cabin of the EV4 is made for people who have busy, modern lifestyles. The priorities of the interior layout are rest and productivity, as they introduce features like:

• Dedicated Rest Mode with adjustable lighting and reclinable seats.
• Sliding center table for work or dining.
• Two-tier ambient lighting for a feeling of calm in-cabin.
• Ultra-slim front seatbacks for improved rear legroom.
• Large trunk opening to easily fit golf bags or larger items.

Kia has given it a generous interior space, with front legroom at 1,154mm and rear at 970mm. It also has 490L (sedan) and 435L (hatchback) luggage capacity.

Powertrain, Range and Charging

The EV4 has two options for battery:

• 58.3 kWh Standard with up to 430 km WLTP range for the sedan.
• 81.4 kWh Long Range with up to 630 km WLTP range for the sedan.

They have mounted a 150kW front motor that delivers smooth driving with a peak torque of 283Nm. The EV4 supports both AC and DC charging, which charges from 10 to 80% in just 29 to 31 minutes via fast charging. The i-Pedal 3.0 system allows owners to customize regenerative braking and one-pedal driving.

Technology and Safety

EV4 has advanced driving aids like Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance, and Highway Driving Assist 2.

It also has tech features like a digital key (with up to 15 devices), voice commands, wireless smartphone support, and OTA updates.

The EV4 is now on sale in Korea. The company confirms global rollouts will follow in the second half of 2025.
