Bentley Batur by Mulliner Revealed in Saudi Arabia, Packs a 6.0L W12 Engine

Saudi Arabia : The new Batur convertible is handcrafted by Bentley’s Mulliner bespoke department and takes inspiration from the Bacalar Barchetta and Batur coupe.

British automaker Bentley has recently revealed its Batur convertible at an exclusive launch event. The brand will only produce 16 units of this coachbuilt model, with each unit tailor-made to reflect the unique style and taste of its owner.

Iconic Engine

The two-seater convertible will be the last model to feature Bentley’s legendary 6.0L W12 engine. The powertrain which also powers the Batur coupe, is tuned to produce 730 hp and 1000 Nm torque. When paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the car can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 3.4 seconds, reaching the top speed of 336 kmph.

Bespoke Design

• The Mulliner Bespoke department will collaborate with each client to create each Batur, using in-house software. The vehicle offers a truly personalized experience to the client with an ‘off-menu’ approach, enabling them to personalize any part in unique colours and finishes, resulting in a one-of-a-kind taste and style.
• The car features sleek headlights, with nicely stacked DRLs and a diamond-patterned grille finished in gloss black.
• The Batur comes with 22-inch wheels, which can also be customized with titanium detailing or a tri-tone finish. The sleek taillights and rear bumper are carried forward from the coupe version.
• There is an unlimited choice of body paints, including the Mulliner colour palette, full bespoke paint and hand-painted elements. The exterior brightware can be customized to suit individual preferences with finishes combining light and dark, gloss satin or even titanium. 

Intriguing Interiors

• The cockpit features a central touchscreen that rotates into the dashboard to reveal three analogue dials, while there is a fully digital instrument panel for the driver.
• The cabin also features 3D rose gold painted elements over driver touch points, including the engine start/stop button, Driving Mode Selector, steering wheels and iconic Organ Stop aircon vent control.
• Bentley Mulliner has partnered with master goldsmiths in Birmingham-based Jewellery Quarter, a region which has been the hub of jewellery craftsmanship for centuries. This unique collaboration underscores the brand’s ability to combine innovative manufacturing methods with classic materials and finishing techniques.

Only 16 units of Bentley Batur convertible will be produced. The expected price of a Batur convertible in Saudi Arabia is over 1 million SAR.
