Built on the MMA Platform
The MMA platform is designed as "electric-first," suitable for both battery-electric powertrains and efficient 48V mild-hybrid combustion engines. This shared architecture lets the new GLA replace both the outgoing combustion GLA and the fully electric EQA in one model line, making it a future-proof base for Mercedes' compact SUV range.
