Toyota RAV4 2026

The all-new sixth-generation Toyota RAV4 made its debut globally in May 2025 and it is set to enter the Saudi market by early 2026. This compact SUV introduces bold new styling with Toyota’s trademark “hammerhead” front end, split LED headlights, robust SUV proportions, muscular fender flares and a more upright posture. The cabin of RAV4 gets a thoroughly modern cabin with a standard 10.5-inch infotainment screen (upgraded to 12.9″ on upper trims), a 12.3-inch digital driver display, sleek shift-by-wire toggles, ambient lighting and a clean, intuitive layout powered by Toyota’s new Arene software platform for improved safety, infotainment speed and over-the-air updates.

Launch

The RAV 4 2026 is expected to arrive in Saudi showrooms from Q1–Q2 2026 as a full hybrid-only lineup, with both HEV and PHEV variants.

Price

The Toyota RAV 4 price in KSA has not been announced yet, but we can expect it to align with premium compact SUV segment pricing and include higher trim options such as GR Sport PHEV.

Powertrain & Performance

• HEV (Hybrid): It will feature Toyota’s fifth-generation hybrid system paired with a 2.5 L inline‑4 petrol engine. FWD models deliver up to 226 hp, while AWD variants are rated at 236 hp total system output.

• PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid): The new sixth-generation PHEV system uses silicon carbide semiconductors and a high-capacity battery to deliver up to 320 hp and around 50 miles (80 km) of pure electric range (WLTP). Select grades (XSE, Woodland) support DC fast charging with CCS standard (10–80% in approx. 30 min), and AC charging increased to 11 kW 

Features

The Toyota's Arene software platform enables intuitive voice control, faster system response, new driver assist features including automatic lane-change, advanced parking assist, and seamless OTA updates . Interior layouts are optimised for storage and usability with shift-by-wire toggle, organised centre-stack, ambient lighting and soft-touch materials .

Safety

Standard across all trims is the Toyota Safety Sense 4.0, offering advanced driver assistance features like lane‑change assist, predictive curve speed control, pre-collision AEB, adaptive cruise control, blind‑spot assist and more, all supported by the new Arene platform .

Competitors

The 2026 RAV4 HEV and PHEV aim to challenge segment leaders like the Hyundai Kona, MG HS PHEV and Kia Sorento Hybrid.
