The KIA EV9 has several standout features starting from a 99.8 kWh battery, delivering up to 379 bhp and 700 Nm of torque. Huge for an EV, and certainly attractive enough for the premium buyers. It offers fast charging, reaching from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes with a 350 kW charger. Inside the cabin there are some key features like reclining seats, ErgoMotion seats, and a second-row shelf for added comfort. It also includes haptic menu controls and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity. Safety also gets equal focus.

The EV9 by Kia is promising over 500 km of range which seems quite sufficient for everyday driving, actually, you don’t really need to charge everyday, such a range could be enough for a full week for an average driving needs. So, yes, EVs make sense, however, I’m not sure the pricing of the models based on variants, but the SUV, at first look seems quite practical in terms of size, overall road presence along with features and technologies. Let's see when Kia brings it here and what price it will start, but my first impression is certainly positive.

A closer look around the EV9 by the Korean OEMs reveals a lot that points towards the goal of shipping the luxury SUV segment. I think the same will happen in Saudi Arabia when the car goes on sale? This 5 meter long three row SUV undoubtedly is premium and appeals to the higher-end segment, and honestly, the Germans have to think about this serious competition. I liked the way the EV9 is equipped by KIA with the very high quality interiors along with best performance numbers.

I have recently checked this glossy compact SUV from Chinese brand Chery, and am amused by its good looks. They haven’t yet launched this SUV in Saudi market, but it is quite well designed with the shape and aerodynamic angles, the grille, the T shape running lights, LED headlights and taillights, attractive 18-inch alloy and also a sunroof, making it a completely awesome car, I hope the interiors are equally good. Now if Chery priced it right, I’m confident it can generate a lot of interest among customers, and I'm looking forward to this new brand

I think the EV9 is one of the best looking KIAs ever designed in recent times, the exterior of this SUV is just awesome, a lot modern and sleek. And, with huge power, longer range, faster-charging along with best features makes the EV9 a complete SUV that one might wish for. I think the cabin is quite premium and gives the vibe of a very upmarket car with a display at the front, HUDs and ADAS and safety is something very standout of this KIA electric vehicle. A 500 plus range allows it to become a car to go for any distance, and you can manage without looking for a charge or feeling anxious.

The KIA EV9 is an all-electric SUV that has everything that one would expect, I especially find the autonomous features, comfort and safety being the top highlights. The SUV looks sizeable got huge cabin with a lot of space around for all rows, and like any Korean SUV, it gets best features for entrainment, fun and enjoyment. However, what I admire the most it the Kia’s claim that you can change the EV9 on the go with DC fast charging, 80% charing is done in less than 25 minutes which is great.

I think the Kia EV9 is not yet available in the market but coming soon as the competition in the EV segment is rising with interest in the Saudi market. I think Kia’s EV strategy is quite aggressive, and the company is introducing a number of options at different price points. The EV9 is a powerful SUV with 99.8kWh of battery packed, giving 561 km of range in a single charge, the top speed of 200 km/h and 0-100 under 5.3 seconds makes it quite a performer. And with nice comfort, and a roomy cabin makes it a perfect choice.

What I liked the most about this electric SUV is the 100 kWh battery which can be charged over 805 in just half an hour, and produces a huge power of 380hp and 700 Nm of torque. Just a breeze to drive and indulge into its comfort with an incredible range of 550 km. Can’t wait for it to be available in the Kingdom.
