The Geely EX5 electric SUV is expected to make its way to Saudi showrooms as an affordable EV option.  The EX5 was awarded prestigious awards like the Red Dot Award 2025 and IDA Design Award 2024.

The EX5 launch in Saudi Arabia is expected in late 2025.

The Geely EX5 price in KSA is estimated to start around SAR 85,000.

It will likely be offered in single-motor RWD setup.

Battery Pack, Electric Motor, And Range

It will be equipped with a 60.22 kWh battery and offer a decent driving range of about 400 km on a single charge.

Charging

It will support DC fast charging, going 10%–80% in just 28 minutes.

Features

It features a 15.4-inch touchscreen, a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel, a 16-speaker audio system, ambient lighting, keyless entry, rear camera, fully reclinable front seats (completely flat) and panoramic sunroof.

Safety

For safety, the EX5 gets ABS, ESC, airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system and ADAS, which includes adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, auto lane change assist, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, evasive manoeuvre assist and doors open warning.

Rivals

The Geely EX5 will compete with the MG ZS EV, Changan CS35 Plus and Forthing T5 Evo in the Saudi Arabian market.
