BMW has officially unveiled the new M2 CS, a special-edition high-performance coupe designed to dominate racetracks and city streets.
The CS variant, which is built on the already impressive BMW M2, comes with even more power, lower weight, and advanced engineering that blurs the line between road car and track tool. The M2 CS, which is limited in production, will enter global markets including the KSA later this year.
Stronger, Faster, Lighter
The new BMW M2 CS comes with a 3.0-litre six-cylinder in-line engine that now produces 530 hp and 650 Nm of torque. It delivers power to the rear wheels through an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic.
This means it has a 50 hp gain over the standard M2, trimming the 0–100 km/h time down to 3.8 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 302 km/h.

They have saved weight of 30 kg through the use of carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) in components like the roof, hood, centre console, and diffuser. Standard forged alloy wheels help reduce unsprung weight, which makes the CS the lightest M2 in its generation.
Track-Ready Dynamics
The CS accelerates faster and also handles it better, too. A stiffer engine mount improves response, while they have lowered the chassis by 8 mm and also retuned it for optimal agility.
The adaptive M suspension, M Sport differential, and M Servotronic steering all feature CS-specific calibrations. M Compound brakes come standard, and they optionally offer carbon ceramic brakes.
What Makes the M2 CS Special
- Carbon fibre exterior: Roof, rear diffuser, boot lid, and mirrors.
- Forged M wheels (19" front, 20" rear) with standard track tyres.
- Unique colours like Sapphire Black, Velvet Blue, Brooklyn Grey, and Portimao Blue.
- M-specific exhaust with flaps to help enhance engine note.
- Interior upgrades like Alcantara steering wheel, M Carbon bucket seats, and CS badges.

On the inside, the BMW M2 CS balances sportiness with modern technologies. The cabin comes with carbon fibre trim, Merino leather, and a 12.3-inch digital cluster paired with a 14.9-inch central display running BMW Operating System 8.5.
Climate and seat controls are fully digital. M-specific functions include M Drift Analyser, Laptimer, and configurable drive modes. Two-zone climate control, Harman Kardon sound, and full smartphone connectivity come standard.
Coming Soon to the Kingdom
The BMW M2 CS will launch in KSA in late summer 2025 with limited availability. The price in Germany right now is €115,000, and that reflects the exclusivity and performance heritage of the M badge.
This release helps solidify BMW’s commitment to offering top-tier driving machines that cater to motorsport fans and passionate daily drivers.
