2027 BMW X5 M – Cosmetic Changes

The design changes are clear in concept images made by artist Nikita Choiko from Kolesa. The front of the SUV moves away from the big grille we see now. Instead, it will have two smaller vertical grilles, surrounded by shiny black panels. 

The headlights are sleek and built into the design, giving the SUV an active, sporty look. The front bumper has large black air intakes and "air curtains" on the sides to help airflow.

The side of the vehicle also gets a fresh look. The doors have softer curves compared to the past, and traditional handles are replaced by small touch panels built into the window frames. At the back, the usual wide taillights are replaced by slimmer, more modern lights. The rear still features a black diffuser and four exhaust pipes.

2027 BMW X5 M – Powertrain and Performance

Under the hood, the 2027 BMW X5 M is expected to have a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine combined with a hybrid electric motor. This setup is similar to what’s used in the current XM and M5 models.
