Porsche 911 (2012-2021)

Owning a Porsche 911 has been an incredible experience of my life. I still remember the day I first drove it off the showroom, my heart started pounding with excitement. The flat-six engine feels like a powerful and wild beast which is ready to hit the road. The cockpit is tight but crafted perfectly, making me feel connected to every inch of the car. It’s not about practicality, it’s about the thrill of driving, whether threading through city traffic or speeding down an open highway. I’ve taken it on weekend drives out of town, the engine’s roar turning heads wherever I go. The 911 is my daily dose of joy and precision that keeps me passionate about every mile.

The Porsche 911 lineup which has several marquees like the Carrera, Carrera S, and Carrera GTS is an absolute dream of any car enthusiast as these cars are known for their excellent and thrilling performance. For example the Carrera S, gets a legendary 3.0L twin-turbo engine, and gives superb 473 hp of power and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3.3 second. Not just performance, the 911 are known for their great features be it a 12.6-inch digital gauge display, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and the cabin is premium and offers incredible comfort. And, lastly, all these iconic cars provide top-class safety.

A best selling, most loved and followed sports car, the 911 is truly a legendary Porsche everyone wishes for part of their garage. It excels in almost all areas, and is one of the most iconic cars that found inspiration across the automotive industry. WIth the addition of the T-hybrid powertrain in the GTS variant in the 2025 model makes the 911 even more appealing. Combining the 3.6 litre twin turbocharged flat six engine with an electric motor is another great innovation by Porsche. Super power, speed, and overall performance is awesome, unmatched and that is what makes it a most desirable model.

As a proud owner of the Porsche 911 in Saudi Arabia, I can confidently say this car is a masterpiece of engineering. The performance is excellent, with rapid acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just a few seconds, every drive feels thrilling. The handling is precise, making it a joy on both in city roads and highways. The classic yet modern design and the attention to detail in the interior is remarkable. Comfortable leather seats and great infotainment system enhance the driving experience. While it comes at a premium price, the blend of luxury, performance, and prestige makes the Porsche 911 worth every penny.

I got to take my hands on this beauty recently at the Riyadh circuit, and it was a long staying dream to drive. It was a surreal experience to not just look but feel this amazing, legendary car. And, I can go on and on with the car, however, just saying there is nothing like 911. It is really a defining race car that would always stay at a special place in everyone that loves cars. I must say it is a lot more exciting in person than anyone in picture or video.

It is fair to say every car enthusiast admires this iconic sports car, and I’m not different. Always been a fan of this incredible historical car, and wanted to not only drive but own too. However, for years now I have been just dreaming but seem now closer to fulfilling it than ever. I have recently checked the car at Jeddah, and spent quite a bit of time exploring it up close. There is nothing to not like about this beatify, and my test drive was as expected fun. Now, I’m looking forward to booking the car in the coming week.

My favorite car dream that came true early this year when I bought this iconic car after waiting for decades. Being a fan of motorsports, I have always been fascinated by the Porsche, always right at the pole position. While I’m not able to spend enough time with 911 due to frequent travel, when I get a chance to take the beast out on Riyadh roads, it blows my mind.
