Polestar 4

The Polestar 4 is a stylish little electric car. Now, while its dimensions may be similar to hatchbacks, the car has much more road presence and hence punches a lot above its weight. In short, the car competes with cars that might be perceived to be much above its class. With that, the car seems to be packing a lot and here’s if the car can actually hold a candle to its competitors. 

Price 

The car hasn’t officially been launched here and we think the Swedish car maker could launch the car towards the end of this year. As for the expected price, the Polestar 4 price in Saudi Arabia could very well be around the SAR 210,000 mark. 

Variants 

There will probably be only 1 Polestar 4 variant which will be on sale in KSA and that will be the car’s base variant. 

Engine & Performance 

The Polestar 4 engine promises a lot and seems to pack quite a punch. Its motor is a solid 272 HP one and with its all-electric motor, it churns out a massive 343 Nm. Acceleration from 0- 100 kmph is rated just above 7 seconds. With its big motor, the claimed range stands at a solid 620km. Even if it’s the claimed figure, its real world figure should be around the 500km mark. 

With its DC charger, charging times from 10-80 percent are 30 minutes. As for the AC charging, 0-100 percent will take a bit more than 5 hours. As for the battery, it’s a lithium ion type unit. 

Safety

The Polestar 4 specifications list has a whole bunch of safety features. Kicking things off are the standard bits like central locking, an anti theft device, power door locks, driver airbags, child safety locks as well as passenger airbags. 

Going up the ladder, there’s EBD, traction control, rear seat belts, day & night rear view mirrors, door ajar warning, parking sensors, an engine immobilizer, lane change indicator, intelligent high beam, lane departure warning system and a lot, lot more. 

Features & Specifications

There are a whole bunch of Polestar 4 features too. The 15.4-inch TFT infotainment system is absolutely massive and feels very premium and upmarket. There are as many as 12 speakers and the TFT is a touch screen unit. There’s an FM system, a radio, turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless charging, USB charging ports, voice control, Apple carplay as well as Android auto. 

The Polestar 4 interior feels premium and nice. The clock is a digital unit and there are a lot of ambient lighting options which increase the upmarket feel of the car’s interiors. Finally, what makes the car feel even nicer is the massive 5.7-inch TFT infotainment unit for the rear passengers. This is something that not many cars in this segment can promise. 

The Polestar 4 exterior is feature loaded too. Adjustable headlights, front fog lights, rear spoiler, alloy wheels and a power-adjustable exterior rear view mirror, the car has it all.
