The Kia Sportage was named Best Vehicle for Commuters, while the all-electric Kia EV9 was recognized as both the Top Pick for Tomorrow Seekers and Suburbanites.

On the other hand, the Kia Seltos earned the Top Pick for Urbanites and First-Time Car Buyers awards. This demonstrates the broad appeal of the model.

The Kia Sorento and Carnival were honored as Top Picks for Empty Nesters as both the models offer several family-friendly features.

The Kia Niro received the Top Pick for Commuters, as the model is known for its practicality.

How were the models rated and evaluated?

In the 2024 Newsweek Autos Awards, psychographic categories were introduced. This parameter strategically aligned the choice of vehicles with the lifestyle preferences of the buyers. Each vehicle on the market in the U.S. was evaluated and rated according to these criteria.
