Ceer, Saudi Arabia’s pioneering EV brand, is setting new standards in the Middle Eastern automotive landscape by partnering with Rimac Technology, a global leader in electrification. With this agreement, Rimac will supply high-performance Electric Drive Systems (EDS) for Ceer’s flagship models, making this a significant milestone for both companies. 

The collaboration aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goal of positioning the Kingdom as a hub for advanced, sustainable technologies.

Ceer’s Role as Saudi Arabia’s First EV Brand

As Saudi Arabia’s first original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in the EV sector, Ceer is spearheading efforts to localize electric vehicle production in the Middle East. Established as a joint venture between Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. (Foxconn), Ceer embodies the Kingdom’s ambition to reduce its reliance on fossil fuels and embrace sustainable innovation.

With its first line of EVs expected soon, Ceer’s partnership with Rimac marks an important step toward delivering world-class electric vehicles tailored to the needs and aspirations of the region.

Rimac Technology’s Expertise in High-Performance Electrification

Rimac Technology, known for its expertise in high-performance powertrains, brings its advanced electric drive technology to Ceer’s vehicles. Rimac’s integrated EDS solutions, already proven in high-performance models like the Rimac Nevera and Aston Martin Valkyrie, are now being adapted for large-scale EV production with Ceer. 

This partnership enables Rimac to expand its footprint in the GCC and meet the demand for powerful, efficient, and sustainable vehicles in the region. The project also represents Rimac’s shift toward larger-volume applications, strengthening its global ambitions in the electric vehicle sector.
