Big SUV with a Touch of Class
For a big family trip to Abha, we rented a Mazda CX-9 and it turned out to be the ideal choice. It handled the uphill drives with ease thanks to its strong 2.5L turbo engine. Inside, the three rows were surprisingly comfortable, even for adults in the last row. The leather seats felt luxurious and the air conditioning worked perfectly which is always needed in Saudi summers. The entertainment system kept the kids busy throughout the drive. Despite being a large SUV, it was easy to maneuver and didn’t feel heavy on turns. What stood out for me is how quiet and smooth the drive was. If you need space and luxury together, the CX-9 really fits well.

Smooth City SUV
I got a Toyota RAV4 hybrid mainly for daily office runs. The drive is quiet, steering feels light, and the cabin space is perfect for a small family. It’s not flashy, but every feature is practical – good AC, easy touchscreen controls, and enough airbags for peace of mind. Last month, I took it to Abha, and it handled the hilly roads nicely. I think this SUV balances comfort and economy really well. If you’re someone who wants Toyota reliability with modern features but don’t want something too large, the RAV4 checks all boxes.
