I was looking for a tough SUV that provides the on and off-road driving experiences, a powerful engine, superior built quality and great cabin. I have been exploring all the brands, and my friends introduced me to this Chinese brand GMW, which I was aware of but in context of the tough SUV. He actually insisted I take the test driver of the Tank 500. I did reluctantly, but having spent time with the SUV, it impressed me beyond my expectations. I would consider the Tank 500 a powerful SUV that is also great to drive, offer comfort, safety along with a lot of space. The V6, 3L twin turbo just magically provides 350 hp of power and 500 Nm of torque, tuned a 9-speed automatics. And it is not just for regular drivers, but very much loaded with its off-loading capabilities as well. The 4WD rotary mode switch is something great of all the adventures. Considering what is on offer, the car is not that expensive, at SAR 210K is reasonable.

Amid Saudi Arabian automakers flooded with Japanese and Korean SUVs, this Chinese brand with its all-new mid-size SUV the Tank 500 made quite an impression on me. I never used a Chinese car brand before but that might change after I drove this powerful SUV a week back. And, I must say, it has surpassed all my criteria and now I feel confident about this SUV. I’m going ahead with a deal subject to the right price, my choice of color, and quick delivery within the next two weeks.
