Ride and Handling

• Overall handling is smooth, the steering is remarkably light, with the help of three Eco, normal and Sport modes, you choose the best at any given time. Among the three, we found the sports mode quite responsive.  
• Tested across various terrains, including congested city streets, open highways, and light off-road paths, our impression has been good. 

• Not as jerky on the throttle as one would imagine, especially at lower speeds. Since it is a six-speed CVT, the gearing feels a little longer. However, in bumper-to-bumper traffic, we felt a lagging response, but just for a while.  
• The X50 delivers a balanced ride and confident handling, on Saudi Arabia’s diverse road conditions

• Front MacPherson struts and rear multi-link independent suspension assure you a smooth ride with predictable body control, even at rough patches. The suspension absorbs the shocks, and you don’t feel the pressure. But the brakes, you need to watch out for, as they are a little bit spongy. 
• The highly accurate steering gives you the necessary conviction in tight corners and heavy traffic. The SUV comfort and engagement, not a performance SUV, but versatile
• Overall, the X50 is capable of handling Saudi Arabia’s hot climate and varied terrains smoothly, and could be your everyday drive for the city.
